When tuning, the noise is perfectly blocked by Low-Impedance Mute of output. When pull up the Tuner Switch, this becomes a 8 band-Equalizer. The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

This pedal has a completely different circuit than the usual Overdrive circuits of the 70s. Its sound can be super Clean and crystalline or distorted in a truly spectacular way.

Set with the soft gain, the clean acquires a small compression that highlights the guitar in a spectacular way

When you set the gain higher, the compression becomes slightly more “boxy” but letting the harmonics come out forward in a very particular way.

With the gain at maximum, it is pedal glory. A LEAD sound is achieved that lets you hear every minute detail that comes out of the pickups. Whether making chords, riffs, or single phrases, this high gain pedal has a depth and body that you really don't get with ANY other type of Overdrive.

It integrates up to four function modes (volume, wah, volume/wah, expression), taking playability to new heights. The pedal position indicator shows the pedal position in real time. The TONE mode selection and Q value adjustment represent an absolute improvement in tone and functionality. Multiple I/O options provide more diverse access. The ROSS Chorus is a bucket-brigade true-analog chorus which utilizes the V3207 BBD chipset. While this pedal excels at the vintage bucket-brigade chorus and vibrato tones you’ve heard for decades, these straightforward controls can also create a wide range of textures and are versatile enough for any style of music.

The ROSS Fuzz is a pedal that never existed in the previous ROSS history, but its circuit was pulled from the Kustom amplifiers also made by Bud Ross during his Kustom Electronics era. John Fogerty used the Kustom amp’s distortion for hit songs like “Run Through the Jungle” and “Fortunate Son”, and other artists like the Grateful Dead, Leon Russell, Johnny Cash, The Jackson Five, Carl Perkins, the Carpenters and Charley Pride depended on these amps for many of their signature sounds. This pedal is a tribute to that transistorized Kustom distortion effect. It’s a fairly unorthodox fuzz, not associated with classic topologies like the Fuzz Face, Tone Bender or Big Muff. It highlights a hidden moment in distortion history, allowing you to place a vintage tone in your modern rig.

The ROSS Distortion is an op-amp hard clipper built around the classic 1970s topology seen in pedals like the MXR Distortion Plus, the DOD 250, the Proco RAT and the BOSS DS-1. While this pedal can be used in almost any situation, it excels at creating natural tube-like overdrive distortion and pushing your amplifier into natural breakup.
