Turbo Rat

DISTORTION
Description
Introduced in 1989 as an evolution of the iconic RAT distortion circuit, the pedal replaces standard silicon clipping diodes with red LEDs. This design modification yields significantly higher headroom and maximum output volume compared to vintage models. The resulting drive character provides a punchier, less compressed saturation while retaining classic harmonic fullness. A signature low-pass reverse filter allows players to cut high-end frequencies or brighten presence in dense mixes. Analog op-amp architecture ensures consistent dynamic response across guitars and basses. Rugged steel housing protects the internal assembly for demanding live performance environments.Media
