OVERDRIVE

he Pettyjohn PettyDrive is a studio-grade, dual-channel analog overdrive pedal designed to emulate the dynamic feel of boutique tube amplifiers pushed to the edge of breakup. One channel (“Chime”) provides a full-range, low-gain overdrive or boost with a harmonically rich, British-style breakup and natural compression related to power-amp “sag.” The other channel (“Iron”) delivers a smooth yet powerful American-style overdrive with minimal tweaking needed. An internal parallel effects loop on the Iron channel enables flexible routing and creative combinations with other pedals.
