Das Pete Cornish P-1™ ist das erste DOUBLE ISOLATED Fuzz- oder Distortion-Pedal der Welt. Es ist sehr empfehlenswert für einen fetten, hohen Gain, sengenden Lead-Sound und ist perfekt für Soli und schwere Rock-Rhythmusarbeit. Dieses Pedal wird von David Gilmour in dem von uns entwickelten und gebauten All Tube Effects Stage System verwendet.
Der Eingang dieses einzigartigen Geräts ist unser allseits gelobter hochohmiger Class-A-Puffervorverstärker mit Unity Gain und überlegener RFI-Unterdrückung (zur Eliminierung von Radiosender-Interferenzen) sowie ein niederohmiger Audioausgang, der die Verwendung längerer Kabelwege vom P-1™ im Bypass-Modus ermöglicht. Die feste, hochohmige Last an der Gitarre sorgt dafür, dass die Tonabnehmer optimal arbeiten, auch wenn mehrere Effektgeräte hinter dem P-1™ in Reihe geschaltet sind.

Der zweite Unity Gain, Class A, Buffer isoliert die Fuzz- oder Overdrive-Sektion von der Clean-Bypass-Sektion und verhindert, dass „Ghost Distortion“ im Bypass-Modus hörbar wird. Ich empfehle, dass du das Pedal nach Erhalt ohne andere Geräte anschließt, nur Gitarre/Pedal/Verstärker, und herausfindest, wie die Regler interagieren, sowohl mit sich selbst als auch mit den Reglern von Gitarre und Verstärker. Wenn du dann den Rest deiner Effekte hinzufügst, wirst du vielleicht feststellen, dass du leichte Anpassungen vornehmen musst, um den konstanten Signalpegel des P-1™ zu ergänzen. Die Klangeinstellung des P-1™ wurde so konzipiert, dass die Höhen im Uhrzeigersinn und die Bässe gegen den Uhrzeigersinn angehoben werden. Einstellungen zwischen CW und CCW sorgen für eine unterschiedlich starke Anhebung der hohen und tiefen Frequenzen: Probiere aus, um deine optimale Einstellung zu finden.

The Pete Cornish P-1™ is the Worlds first DOUBLE ISOLATED fuzz or distortion pedal. It is highly recommended for a fat, high gain, searing lead sound and is perfect for solos and heavy rock rhythm work. This pedal is used prominently by David Gilmour in the All Tube Effects Stage System custom designed and built by us.

The input to this unique device is our universally acclaimed High Impedance, Unity Gain, Class A, Buffer Preamp with it's superior RFI rejecting capability (to eliminate Radio Station interference) and Low Impedance Audio output, allowing the use of extended cable runs from the P-1™ in bypass mode. The fixed High Impedance load presented to the Guitar allows the pickups to operate at their optimum, even when several effects units are connected in series after the P-1™.

The second Unity Gain, Class A, Buffer isolates the Fuzz or overdrive section from the clean bypass section and prevents "Ghost Distortion" being audible in Bypass Mode. This effect unit gets the most benefit from being fed into a clean, full frequency response amplifier and I recommend that when you receive your pedal you connect it up without anything else in line, just Guitar/Pedal/Amp, and discover the way the controls interact, both with themselves and the guitar/amp controls. Then adding the rest of your effects, you may find that you need to make slight adjustments to these to compliment the constant signal level provided by the P-1™.

The tone facility on the P-1™ has been designed to provide Treble Boost when set Clockwise and Bass Boost when set Counter Clockwise. Settings in-between CW and CCW will provide varying amounts of high and low frequency boosting: experiment to find your optimum setting.

Eine häufige Ursache dieser Probleme ist die Fehlanpassung der Impedanz in der elektrischen Schaltung zwischen dem Tonabnehmer und dem nachfolgenden Gerät: Diese Fehlanpassung wurde mit der Einführung unseres DUAL LD-3™ Leitungstreibers vollständig beseitigt. ist so niedrig, dass das Ausgangssignal über lange Kabel mit minimalem Verlust an Lautstärke oder Klang übertragen werden kann.

Our Dual channel low noise discrete component Unity Gain Class A Line Driver has been specifically designed to overcome the problems often encountered with amplification of Electric Instruments fitted with magnetic transducers. A frequent cause of these problems is the mismatch of the impedance in the electrical circuit between the pickup and subsequent equipment: this mismatch has been completely eliminated with the introduction of our DUAL LD-3™ Line Driver. The output
impedance is low to enable the output signal to be sent over long cables with minimum loss of volume or tone.

Neu für 2016 ist mein einzigartiger Tone and Volume Boost - der 3Q-1™. Der 3Q-1™ ist keine Variante eines bestehenden Produkts, sondern ein völlig neues und originelles Design.

Der Eingang ist vollständig gepuffert mit unserem LD-1 Class A Unity Gain Line Driver und HF-Filter, der auch im Bypass-Modus aktiv ist. Die erste Stufe des 3Q-1™ ist ein linearer Boost mit variabler Verstärkung und flachem Frequenzgang - der Verstärkungsbereich des Boosts reicht von 0 bis +20 dB (10X). Auf den linearen (Clean) Boost mit variabler Verstärkung folgt ein aktiver Dreiband-EQ mit Frequenzen, die ich speziell auf Gitarren zugeschnitten habe. Da die drei Tonbänder aktiv sind, können sie je nach Wunsch sowohl abgesenkt als auch angehoben werden, wobei der Nullpunkt bzw. der neutrale Punkt bei 12 Uhr auf jedem Regler liegt.

Der Vorteil dieser aktiven Tonschaltung gegenüber der üblichen passiven (nur Cut) Tonschaltung ist, dass die drei Bänder völlig unabhängig sind und es keine Wechselwirkung zwischen den Tonreglern für Bass, Middle und Treble gibt.

Ein Ausgangs-Master-Volume ist vorhanden, um eine perfekte Anpassung zwischen Bypass und verstärktem/EQ-Signalpegel zu ermöglichen, und es ist reichlich Headroom vorhanden, um die Verstärkereingänge bei Bedarf zu übersteuern.

New for 2016 is my unique Tone and Volume Boost- the 3Q-1™. The 3Q-1™ is not a variant of any existing product but a completely new and original design.

The Input is fully buffered using our LD-1 Class A unity gain line driver and RF filter which is also active in bypass mode. The first stage of the 3Q-1™ is a variable gain linear boost with flat frequency response - the gain range of the boost is 0 to +20dB (10X). Following on from the variable gain Linear (Clean) Boost is a three band active EQ using frequencies I have specifically tailored to suit guitars. Being active, the three tone bands can be both cut and boosted as desired with the zero or neutral point being 12 o'clock on each control knob.

The benefits of this active tone circuit, compared to the usual passive (Cut only) tone circuit is that the three bands are completely independent and there is no inter-reaction between the Bass, Middle and Treble tone controls.

An output Master Volume is included to allow for perfect matching between bypassed and boosted/EQ’d signal level and there is plenty of signal headroom available to overdrive amp inputs if required.
