Andy Timmons mysteriöser 'Halo' Effekt ist ein modulierter Dual-Echo-Sound, der vom Klangzauberer selbst lange Zeit geheim gehalten wurde, und er verbrachte Jahrzehnte damit, die Sounds zu kombinieren und zu entwickeln, die jetzt ganz einfach mit dem Keeley Halo Effektpedal erzeugt werden können. Gespielte Noten aus dem Halo 'tanzen rhythmisch' und erzeugen fast eine Reverb-ähnliche Diffusion. Diese Noten werden mit Tape-ähnlichen Effekten wie Modulation, Sättigung und Kompression zusammengehalten. Das Pedal bietet neben Andy Timmons Signature Delay Tone die Möglichkeit eigene Sounds zu kreieren und als Preset zu speichern. Der einfache, übergangslose Wechsel zwischen Side A und Side B mit frei regelbaren Settings vereint dabei praktisch zwei separate Delay Effekte in einem Pedal. Zusätzlich zu Andys charakteristischem 'Halo'-Sound bietet das Pedal vier weitere Rhythm-Modes: Viertelnoten, punktierte Achtel, Bucket Brigade (BBD) und ein klassisches Multi-Head Tape Echo. Atemberaubende Stereo-Effekte und eine makellose Klangqualität werden durch Regler für Saturation, Tone und Shelving-Filter weiter verbessert, um das Keeley Halo zum 'ultimativen' Delay Effektpedal zu machen.

Andy Timmons' mysterious sounding 'Halo' effect is a modulated dual echo sound that has long been kept a secret by the tone wizard himself and he spent decades combining and crafting the sounds you can get from the Keeley Halo effects pedal. Notes from the Halo dance rhythmically, almost creating a reverb diffusion. Those notes are held together with tape-style effects like modulation, saturation, and compression. The pedal comes loaded with Andy Timmons' signature delay tone and you can program your own sounds and save them as presets. Easily bounce between Side A and B on the fly, essentially giving you two delay pedals in one. In addition to Andy's signature 'Halo' sound, there are numerous other rhythmic delays including: quarter note, dotted 8th, stereo rack mount analog delay, and a vintage multi-head tape echo. Stunning stereo and pristine sound quality are further enhanced with controls for saturation, tone, and shelving filters that give you the ultimate delay pedal.

The system automatically pairs the transmitter and receiver, and it delivers up to ~50 m (165 ft) of operating range with crystal-clear 24-bit/48 kHz audio quality. The rechargeable transmitter battery lasts up to about 6.5 hours and can be conveniently charged on the receiver unit.

Als wir 2011 unseren ursprünglichen Compressor auf den Markt brachten, wurde er schnell zu einem Favoriten unter Gitarristen und Bassisten, die nach etwas mehr suchten als den typischen, stark vereinfachten Reglern, die man bei den meisten Kompressor-Pedalen findet. Auf Grundlage des wertvollen Feedbacks unserer Nutzer haben wir nun alles, was an unserem ursprünglichen Compressor großartig war, noch weiter verbessert. 

Zusätzlich zu den zahlreichen Funktionen und Reglern, die normalerweise nur in High-End-Studioausrüstung zu finden sind, wie z. B. Eingangs- und Gain-Reduktionsanzeigen, unabhängige Attack- und Release-Regler, ein Mix-Regler für parallele Kompression und ein externer Sidechain-Insert, haben wir nun einen „Tilt”-Klangregler und einen wählbaren Sidechain-Hochpassfilter hinzugefügt, der in den Erkennungskreis des Compressors integriert ist. Ach ja, und das ganze Paket ist jetzt nur noch halb so groß und in zwei schicken Farben erhältlich!

When we released our original Compressor back in 2011, it quickly became a favourite among guitar and bass players alike who were searching for something more than the typical oversimplified controls found on most compressor pedals. Now, based on our users’ valuable feedback, we’ve taken everything great about our original Compressor and made it even better. 

On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a ‘tilt’ tone eq control, and a selectable sidechain high pass filter built into the Compressor’s detection circuit. Oh, and the whole package is now half the size and available in two snazzy colours!

Die Pitch Fork von Electro Harmonix in unserem aktuellen bonedo-Test beweist einmal mehr, dass auch Pitch-Shifter Effektpedale inzwischen für jedes Budget erschwinglich sind. Dieser Effekt, der in den Achtzigern in einigen berühmten Gitarrenaufnahmen auftauchte, war damals für uns “normale” Musiker kaum erschwinglich. Aber diese Zeiten haben sich glücklicherweise geändert. Pitch-Effekte sind inzwischen im Effektangebot vieler Hersteller zu recht günstigen Kursen zu finden.

The EHX Pitch Fork transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. Analog Man hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Jim Weider das Pedal herausgebracht, nach dem seit vielen Jahren gesucht wurde - den King Of Tone (KoT). Es gibt viele Overdrive-Pedale auf dem Markt, aber keines von ihnen hat den Ton der Gitarre bewahrt und die richtige Menge an Overdrive ohne Kompromisse hinzugefügt. Es gibt einige gute Clean-Boosts, aber sie haben einfach nicht genug Drive, um dem Verstärker wirklich die Verzerrung zu geben, die man sich oft wünscht. Es gibt einige neuere OD-Pedale, die einen großartigen Frequenzgang haben, aber für mich klingen sie zu TROCKEN, ein bisschen steril und pappig. Es gibt auch einige gut klingende Pedale, aber ihr Sound ist zu "gesättigt", so dass der Anschlag und das Gefühl der Gitarre verloren gehen. Hier kommt das King Of Tone-Pedal ins Spiel - es hat genug warmen Overdrive, bewahrt aber trotzdem den Klang Ihrer Qualitätsgitarren und -verstärker.

Analog Man, in collaboration with Jim Weider, have come out with the pedal we have been looking for for many years - the King Of Tone (KoT). There are many overdrive pedals on the market, but none of them have been quite right, preserving the tone of the guitar and adding the right amount of overdrive without compromise. There are some good clean boosts available, but they just don't have enough drive to really give your amp the distortion you often want. There are some newer OD pedals that have a great frequency response, but to me they sound too DRY, a bit sterile and cardboardy. There are also some nice sounding pedals available but their sound is too "saturated", losing the touch and feel of your guitar. That is where the King Of Tone pedal comes in - it has enough warm overdrive but still preserves the tones of your quality guitars and amps. If you are looking for a big change in your sound, or a lot of distortion, this is probably not the pedal for you.

The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. Der legendäre STEREO CHORUS FLANGER war das erste Produkt von TC Electronic. Überhaupt! Unser Gründer, der auch Musiker ist, ärgerte sich in den 70er Jahren über die Qualität der verfügbaren Effektpedale - sie waren einfach zu laut. Also machte er sich als Ingenieur daran, ein Pedal zu entwickeln, das seinen Erwartungen und hohen Ansprüchen gerecht werden würde. So wurde 1976 das SCF geboren, und der Rest ist Geschichte, wie man so schön sagt. Aber hey! Niemand hat gesagt, dass die Geschichte zu Ende ist. Im Gegenteil, wir schreiben diese Geschichte weiter. Tatsächlich hat sich der Kreis geschlossen und wir treten in eine neue Ära der SCF-Geschichten ein. Darf ich vorstellen: SCF GOLD - ein legendäres Pedal!
