Das One Control Jubilee Red ist ein modernes High-Gain Distortion Pedal, das auf den legendären britischen Silver Jubilee-Verstärker aus den 80er Jahren basiert. Mit dem Jubilee Red AIAB haben Gitarristen vollen Zugriff auf die Mitten in ihrem Sound und profitieren wie bei allen One Control Effektpedalen von einem extrem rauscharmen Betrieb. Die Stompbox harmoniert gleich gut mit Humbuckern oder Single Coil Tonabnehmern sowie modernen High-Gain Pickups oder aktiven Schaltungen und hat auch mit dem zusätzlichen Low-End bei 7- oder 8-Saiter Gitarren keine Probleme. Der Mid-Regler kontrolliert die Tiefe des Mitten-Notch, der bei 600 Hz liegt. Dreht man den Regler auf, wird der Notch ausgeglichen und der Frequenzgang linearer. Der Treble-Regler arbeitet als Tone-Balance und kontrolliert das Verhältnis von Höhen und Bässen um den Mitten-Notch mit einem Treble-Shelf bei ungefähr 2 kHz oder einer Betonung der Bässe bei ca. 100 Hz.

The One Control Jubilee Red is a modern high-gain distortion pedal with tonal roots descending from the legendary Silver Jubilee series of British amplifiers that were created in the late 80's. With the Jubilee Red AIAB, guitarists have access to an enhanced midrange control as well as low noise performance. The pedal pairs perfectly with either humbucker or single coil pickups, including more modern high-gain and active designs. It is also very well suited to handle the additional low end of 7 and 8-string guitars. The Mid control sets the depth of the midnotch and it is centered at 600 Hz - the tone control network creates a midnotch, while turning up the Mid knob lessens the notch and flattens the tonal response. The Treble knob is technically a tone-balance that sets the balances of treble and bass points around a midnotch and the treble shelf is about 2 kHz while the bass hump appears around 100 Hz.

Einen großen Anteil am Erfolg der 'British Invasion' in den 60er und 70er Jahren hatte neben den Bands auch ihr Equipment - speziell die Verstärker. Orange Amplification zog mit einem neuen, rauen Sound Musiker auf der ganzen Welt in den Bann, der sich der Klang der Verstärker so grundlegend von allen anderen Marken unterschied. Bjorn Juhl hat es geschafft diesen einzigartigen Sound (auch bekannt als 'Crude Distortion') mit dem One Control Fluorescent Orange Amp In A Box (FOAIAB) einzufangen. Mit 56 dB Gain und einem Noise Level von -80 dB eignet sich das Pedal für Classic und Hard Rock oder frühe Metal-Sounds und bietet die volle Distortion - ohne die Störgeräusche. Das FOAIAB harmoniert wie die meisten Distortion Pedale am besten mit Humbucker Tonabnehmern, bietet aber auch eine satte, kräftige Verzerrung für Single Coils oder P-90 Pickups. Wie praktisch alle Effektpedale der One Control BJF Series lässt sich das Fluorescent Orange AIAB an jeder denkbaren Stelle der Signalkette einsetzen - ein bisschen experimentieren wird daher dringend empfohlen! Die Stompbox kann den Klang des Verstärkers alleine ändern, als färbender Pre-Amp für andere Verzerrer genutzt werden oder flexibel für Gain-Stacking mit anderen Pedalen nutzen.

A significant part of the British Invasion of the 60's and 70's was not only bands, but equipment - particularly amplifiers.  Orange was a company that built an iconic sound and guitar players everywhere were captured by this raw sound that was so different from everything else at this time. Bjorn Juhl has captured this so-called 'crude distortion' in the Fluorescent Orange Amp In A Box (FOAIAB) drive pedal. With 56 dB of gain and a noise level of -80 dB, the FOAIAB is ideal for classic and hard rock and even early metal - all of the distortion, none of the noise. The FOAIAB works best with humbucking pickups as do most distortion pedals, but there is more than enough thick distortion to satisfy the single coil and P-90 users as well. With active pickups you get less of the dynamics, but a more fluent sound. As with all the One Control BJF series pedals, the FOAIAB can be used anywhere in the signal chain, and it's highly recommended to experiment. The stompbox can change the sound of your amp on its own, or it can be used as a pre-amp for other drives, or it can be used in series with any or all of the OC BJF pedals to create a new individual sound of your own.

Silver Bee Overdrive

Delay Pedale gibt es in allen denkbaren Formen und Ausführungen, von extrem komplex bis zu extrem vereinfacht. Mit dem Sea Turquoise Delay schaffen es Bjorn Juhl und One Control die Regelmöglichkeiten des Pedals zu vereinfachen und gleichzeitig die Vielseitigkeit und Qualität des Effekts auf einem extrem hohen Level zu halten. Mit drei Reglern und einem Schaltern ist das Layout dabei denkbar einfach: Level kontrolliert die Ausgangslautstärke des Pedals, Delay verändert die Delay-Time von einem kurzen Doppel-Effekt bis zu 600 ms und Feedback bestimmt die Tiefe (Depth) des Echos. Über den Kill Dry-Schalter lässt sich das Original-Signal komplett muten - perfekt um das Pedal zum Beispiel in einem parallelen FX Loop oder als Effekt für die PA oder ein Mischpult zu nutzen. Das Sea Turquoise Delay arbeitet extrem leise ohne Störgeräusche und lässt sich so auch perfekt im Studio oder natürlich auch im Live-Einsatz nutzen.

Delay pedals come in all forms, from complex to overly simplified. With the Sea Turquoise Delay, Bjorn Juhl and One Control have managed to simplify the controls while maintaining the versatility and quality of a much desired delay pedal. The Sea Turquoise Delay has only three controls and a switch. The Level knob adjusts the output of the pedal and therefore the volume of the echo. The Delay knob controls the delay time, from doubling to 600 ms. The Feedback knob sets the depth of the echo and the Kill Dry switch on the side of the pedal determines whether the dry signal is present at output or not. This switch is useful when using mixing consoles and PA systems where you may only require the effect for depth of sound and ambiance or if you're using the pedal in a parallel FX loop of your amplifier. The Sea Turquoise Delay is also extremely quiet, making it useful in the studio as well as in live situations. Like all One Control Effects pedals, the Sea Turquoise Delay is housed in a machined and anodized compact aluminum case, with only the highest quality components inside to assure years of trouble free use.

Die One Control Hooker's Green Bass Machine bietet einen weiten Dynamik-Bereich, der locker mit klassischen Röhren-Verstärkern mithalten kann. Dabei erhält das Pedal alle klanglichen Nuancen im Sound, die Bassisten mit ihren Fingern erzeugen können. Das breite Spektrum an möglichen Overdrive- und Distortion-Sounds beinhaltet eine schöne, musikalische Kompression, die an alte Transistor-Verstärker erinnert. Die klare, nicht zu scharfe Attack und die dynamische Ansprache überzeugen auch beim schnellen Spiel mit einem Plektrum und selbst Slap-Sounds kommen wunderbar zur Geltung. Für drückende Heavy-Sounds steht zusätzlich ein Trim-Poti zur Verfügung, der den Bass-Bereich im Signal boostet. Die Hooker's Green Bass Machine bietet eigentlich mehr als genügend Low End, aber wenn es etwas mehr sein soll, hat man mit dem Trim-Poti alle Möglichkeiten. Der Treble-Regler hat einen vergleichsweise eingeschränkten Regelbereich. Da moderne Bass-Verstärker mit sehr leistungsfähigen EQs ausgestattet sind liegt der Fokus hier bewusst auf einer sehr feinfühligen Feinanpassung des Sounds. Natürlich harmoniert die Hooker's Green Bass Machine auch ohne Probleme mit einer Gitarre.

The One Control Hooker's Green Bass Machine has a dynamic range as wide as a bass tube amp and picks up all the subtle expressions that bassists create with their fingers. Transitions between clean and distorted sounds are smooth and it creates a gorgeous but stable compression tone like an old transistor amp when you increase the distortion. It won't miss any finger touches and accurately produces any groove from blues, fusion, or hard rock to metal. Its moderately sharp attack and clear sounding keys do not decrease the speed realized by picking. With slapping, percussive chunks of sound by thumbing pop up, and sound created by pulling can be maintained and kept stable. The ability to freely control distortion enables you to play in a relaxed and comfortable way. For heavy tracks using a multi-string bass, the Low trim pot on the side does its job. The OC Hooker's Green Bass Machine has enough low-end, but if it's not enough, adjust the trim pot to unlock even more low-end. The Treble knob has a limited range to allow subtle adjustment. Many music venues and studios have modern bass amps equipped with powerful EQ and basic bass sound is created using that. What is required for an overdrive pedal is delicate sensory adjustment that is impossible with amp EQ. This pedal can also be used as an overdrive pedal when paired with a guitar.
