REVERB
PREAMP
Description
This dual-effect pedal combines an analog octal tube character preamp and a digital reverb designed to capture vintage recording environment acoustics. The preamp side is based on the pre-war Gibson EH-150 and EH-185 octal tube amplifier circuits, incorporating a pre-boost mode from the company's Junior Barnyard circuit. The reverberation channel focuses on recreating early Chess Records-era studio chambers, plate reflections, and unique ambient rooms rather than traditional spring setups. It features specific mode toggles to shape the input tone for electric or upright instruments alongside adjustments for gain, bloom, and saturation texture. The dry instrument signal remains completely analog throughout the entire circuit path.Media
