The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 3 V2 is a pass-thru box designed for use by vocalists and acoustic players. The 2x XLR outputs allow you to send a stereo signal from your MOD and the 1x XLR input can be used to connect your microphone. You can also use it to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or simply use the MOD as a central access point to your pedalboard.

Der amerikanische Effektpedal-Hersteller Xotic ist bekannt für seine gut klingenden Overdrive-Pedale. Auf der NAMM 2019 in Anaheim zeigte er zwei interessante Neuheiten, die das Portfolio zukünftig ergänzen werden: den Xotic Super Sweet Booster und den Xotic Super Clean Buffer.

The Xotic Super Clean buffer landed on my board in an attempt to fight a major tone loss issue caused by my GigRig QuarterMaster loop switcher (check out my QuarterMaster review to learn more). Since I discovered that tone issue with the switcher, I started looking for possible simple cures that can bring sanity back to my board. I was really trying to avoid getting into replacing my QuarterMaster, simply because I had a really tough year, full of gear issues, technicians and technical support and I just got tired of it. I ended up getting an Xotic Super Clean and I'm very happy with it so far. My clean tone has never been so good through any pedal board before, with or without the switcher.

MINI KATANA CLEAN BOOST!  Keeley’s oldest design made smaller and with an additional feature.  The Katana started back in 2002 within the Time Machine Boost.  It was a dual class A JFET design that gave players and incredible boost and sounded so good they never turned off.  In fact they often ran two or three on stages like John Mayer!  The Mini Katana boost provides over 35dB of boost.  Enough for the most demanding players and sound reinforcement.The new Mini Katana is now a 4 Mode Booster!  With the dual micro switches you have a total of four sounds possible.  Need drive, just flip the micro Hi-Gain Switch inside and you’ve got overdriven tone!  Flip the Hi-Cut Switch (NEW for the Katana Mini!) on the inside and you have a warmer tone to soften any Strat or Tele.  Flip both switches and you have the ultimate sounding boost, thick, creamy, tube-amp sounding, and plenty of volume on tap!

Das Digitech Freqout Natural Feedback Creator Effektpedal gehört zu den eher exotischen Vertretern im Pedalboard. Es widmet sich der Erzeugung von Rückkopplungen, die zwar zum Repertoire jedes gepflegten (Rock-) Gitarristen gehören, aber üblicherweise nur mit entsprechender Lautstärke und der Interaktion zwischen Amp, Box und Gitarre möglich sind. Mit dem E-Bow, der seit Mitte der 70er Jahre erhältlich ist, gibt es bereits ein Werkzeug, das die Saiten per Magnetfeld beliebig lang in Schwingung versetzt, indem es über die gewünschte Saite gehalten wird. Oder den Sustainer von Fernandes, ein Pickup, der ebenfalls die Saiten zum Schwingen bringt, wenn er per Schalter dazu aufgefordert wird. Und natürlich muss beim Umbau der Gitarre einer der vorhandenen Tonabnehmer dem Sustainer weichen.

Ampero Control is a compact, sturdy, fully programmable Bluetooth MIDI controller, that gives musicians flexible MIDI-based control via MIDI port, USB jack and Bluetooth. It features 4 footswitches, with each footswitch, you can send up to 16 different MIDI messages by different actions. You can also attach expression pedals or more footswitches to your Ampero Control depending on your needs. Octava ist ein vollanaloger Oktav-Fuzz/Frequenzverdoppler mit integriertem Tiefpassfilter, mit dem man singende Oktavtöne an jeder beliebigen Stelle des Halses erzeugen kann, ohne die Klangregelung der Gitarre zu verändern. Ein Drive- und ein Fuzz-Schaltkreis auf der Vorderseite sorgen für zusätzliche Signalstärke und verwandeln den Octava in ein Shoegaze-Fuzz-Pedal, das eine verheerende, gleichgerichtete Vollwellenverzerrung erzeugt. Mit dem Blend-Regler kannst du den Oktavierungseffekt mit dem Drive-Effekt mischen.

Octava is an all-analog octave fuzz / frequency doubler featuring an on-board low pass Filter control that allows you to achieve singing octave up tones anywhere on the neck, without adjusting your guitar’s tone control. A front-end Drive and gushing Fuzz circuit add signal power and easily convert Octava to shoegazey fuzz pedal capable of producing devastating, full-wave rectified distortion. Use the Blend knob to mix the octave up effect on top of your dialed-in drive.
