The UAFX Brigade is Universal Audio’s ultra-precise sonic tribute to that long-discontinued pedal, sporting an immaculate bucket brigade chorus/vibrato digital emulation that builds off of UA’s modern-classic Astra Modulation Machine algorithms. However, unlike the pedal of Brigade’s inspiration (or even the Astra), this pedal comes equipped with a supremely straightforward setup of three simple knobs and a 2-way switch to swap between chorus and vibrato. By choosing Play Mode, the user can save and recall up to 36 preset configurations that allow for the simultaneous engagement / disengagement of multiple loops with the press of one footswitch. By choosing Live Mode, the Pedal Controller L6 MKII can function as a traditional pedal controller with each footswitch able to quickly toggle on/off the corresponding loop. In addition to two play modes, the Pedal Controller L6 MKII also has the choice of a pre- or post- signal buffer to choose from to reduce impedance caused by instrument cables or other electronic interference. Without the buffer engaged, the Pedal Controller L6 MKII will operate in true bypass. Other bonus features for the Pedal Controller L6 MKII include a built-in tuner, dedicated mute switch, and large LED display panels to read easily from a distance.

Das DOD Carcosa Fuzz verfügt über eine (leicht) übertriebene Mid-Range und sein Treble Charakter stellt im Mix ganz weit nach vorne. Designt um sich gegen stahlharte Riffs durchzusetzen und auch beim Akkordspiel ungemeine Artikulation der einzelnen Töne zu bieten. Allerdings sind mit extremen Bias (AFTER) Einstellungen eine Menge abgefahren kranke Over-the-Top Sounds möglich. Nun nach langem Warten ist dieses einzigartige und langerwartete Fuzz auch in Europa erhältlich.

The DOD Carcosa Fuzz is a doorway into an alternate fuzz universe, where classic tones of legend coexist with splattered and shattered Pollock abstractions. Combining the Carcosa’s wide-ranging AFTER bias control with two toggle positions creates tones that range from porcine fatness to dessicated shards. This versatility makes the Carcosa Fuzz a good companion for dirty or clean amps. True bypass, tons of output, and the visage of the King in Yellow sets the stage for fuzzy madness. The DOD Carcosa Fuzz has an exaggerated mid-range and treble character that help it stand out in a mix. It has been designed to cut through a dense and heavy band but still have great note articulation with chords. However, when extreme bias (AFTER) ranges are selected many wild and over-the-top sounds are possible.
