The Victor

The Victor is a distortion pedal from Mythos Pedals — a “tribute to one of the most iconic hard-clipping distortion pedals of all time.” The Victor uses a through-hole build with high-quality components including Wima capacitors, an OP07CP chip and NOS carbon comp resistors. It offers Volume, Filter, and Distortion controls, with true bypass switching, quality top-mount panel jacks, and a custom bent metal enclosure. Sonically, the pedal has an improved Filter and Distortion control with a wider range and taper, boosted low-end, and a lower maximum distortion level to make it more responsive and dynamic while retaining the classic aggressive distortion tone inspiration. The unit is described as a “limited release.”
