Klanglich ist der Big Puft eine Mischung aus Zachs bevorzugten BMP-Schaltungen. Er bietet eine sanfte und moderate Verstärkung, bei Bedarf eine Menge Output und einen eher mittenbetonten Ton, damit Sie sich im Mix nicht verlieren. Komplett mit True-Bypass-Schaltung auf einer von Keymaster inspirierten Leiterplatte.

The Big Puft makes a triumphant return! This time in a more pedal board friendly size.

Sonically the Big Puft is an amalgam of Zach's preferred BMP circuits. It has a smooth and moderate amount of gain, a ton of output if needed and a tone stack that is more mid forward so you aren't as lost in a mix. Complete with True Bypass switching on a Keymaster inspired PCB.

Big Puft

Updated for 2023! We have gone back to the drawing board with the Wildwood Mjolnir to get it even closer to Zach’s personal Klon Centaur. When the Wildwood Mjolnir was released it was our attempt to make the best “Klone” possible and after getting a real unit we learned so much sonically that we revised the design to closer emulate the tones that were in that fabled silver box. Flash forward to the 2023, we re-evaluated the sonic differences between our Mjolnir and the original unit and decided we could get them even closer sonically and improve production woes.

We aren't trying to reinvent the wheel, but give you the best that this circuit has to offer. With it's increased output, expanded drive range, and thickened low end the Envy takes the TS formula and makes it more useful for every player, regardless of style.

Envy

Inspiriert von klassischen Treble-Booster-Schaltungen greift der Cestus diese ikonische Topologie auf und passt sie so an, dass sie für alle Spieler funktioniert. Im Inneren arbeitet ein Military-Spec-Siliziumtransistor vom Typ 2N2222A, der aufgrund seines hervorragenden Klangs in dieser Schaltung ausgewählt wurde.

Im Gegensatz zu seinen Germanium-Verwandten benötigt diese Silizium-Version keine spezielle Stromversorgung und verändert ihren Klang nicht, wenn bei deinem nächsten Gig die Sonne herauskommt.

Inspired by classic Treble Booster circuits, the Cestus takes that iconic topology and tweaks it to work for all players. Internally there is a Military Spec SIlicon 2N2222A transistor that was chosen for it's great sound in this circuit.

Unlike it's Germanium brethren, this Silicon transistor version doesn't require a specific type of power and won't fluctuate in tone if the sun comes out at your next gig.

Cestus Treble Booster

Der Chupacabra nimmt seine klangliche Inspiration von der größten kleinen Band aus Texas. Mithilfe eines CMOS-Hex-Chips liefert der Chupacabra eine enorme Ausgangsleistung und einen weiten Gain-Bereich – ein vielseitiger Drive, der sich nahtlos in dein Gitarren-Setup einfügt.

Der Gain reicht von einem leicht angezerrten Tweed-Charakter bis hin zu „dein Amp stirbt gleich“-Sounds mit pseudo-fuzzigem Charakter. Klanglich ist das Voicing recht neutral gehalten, mit einer dezenten Anhebung in den Bässen und Höhen – ohne dabei zu extrem zu wirken.

Inspired by a legend
The Chupacabra takes it's tonal inspiration by the biggest little band from Texas. Utilizing a CMOS Hex chip the Chupacabra has huge amount of output and gain range for a versatile drive that melds perfectly with you guitar setup.

The gain ranges from tweed push to "your amp about to die" for some pseudo fuzz-like tones. Tonally the voicing is pretty flat with a slight bump to lows and highs without being to drastic.
