Das Pedal imitiert klassische Röhrenverstärker‑Tremolo‑Klänge und erlaubt gleichzeitig moderne Stotter‑ und rhythmische Chop‑Effekte. Eine LED zeigt den Betriebszustand an. Es arbeitet mit 9 V DC, Mitte negativ.

Der Busy Bee ist ein kompakter Pre-Amp/Boost-Pedal, basierend auf dem „BB Preamp“-Schaltkreis. Er ist so ausgelegt, dass er Lautstärke und Klang vor Overdrive- oder Distortion-Pedalen anhebt oder alleine als sanfte Soft-Distortion dient. Er verfügt über eine aktive Zweiband-EQ (Low & High), einen „Buzz“-Regler für Gain sowie einen Lautstärke-Regler. True-Bypass-Schaltung schützt das Signal.
