Description

The Moth Electric C. regalis is a versatile overdrive pedal meticulously designed to bridge the gap between massive clean boost, organic transparent overdrive, and searing mid-gain distortion. Its circuit utilizes six op-amps to provide a dynamic and crunchy response that remains highly touch-sensitive and responsive to instrument volume adjustments. Key features include an active two-band EQ with +/- 15dB of boost and cut, a powerful clean blend for parallel processing, and a Smooth/Crunch toggle switch. The "Smooth" mode increases sustain for lead lines, while the "Crunch" mode introduces even-order harmonics to add texture to rhythm playing. Hand-built in the USA using through-hole construction, the pedal is engineered to function equally well for guitar, bass, and baritone instruments.
