Description

This low-gain overdrive pedal delivers dynamic, touch-sensitive saturation responsive to a player's picking intensity. It is an analog circuit designed after the Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive, which itself traces its sonic heritage back to the BJFe Honey Bee drive. Operating with through-hole plug-in components rather than surface-mount technology, the design emphasizes a vintage-voiced tonal clarity suitable for both guitar and bass. Control layouts include volume level, overdrive gain, and a specialized focus knob that shapes the input distortion tracking and overall EQ brightness. The pedal incorporates true bypass switching to preserve the unaltered instrument signal when the effect is disengaged.
