The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 2 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for MIDI-controlled amplifiers and devices, USB connections to a computer, or a sound card. With its edgy attack and smooth sustain, it won over guitarists around the world and shaped the sound of numerous rock legends. This enthusiasm continues to this day and makes the DS-1 the best-selling BOSS pedal of all time.
To mark 40 years of BOSS pedal innovations, we have now released a special edition of the DS-1, the black housing of which is decorated with gold letters and which attracts attention with gold-plated controls and a wing screw in vintage silver for closing the battery compartment in the pedal board and in the display case. Über den Attack-Regler des CS-3 legst du fest, wie schnell die Schaltung diese Anpassung vornimmt. Durch das Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn bleiben Saitenanschläge stärker erhalten und sorgen für einen knackigeren, perkussiven Klang. Je mehr du den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst, desto mehr werden die Signalspitzen abgesenkt. Der Sustain-Regler steuert die Stärke der Kompression und sorgt für einen straffen Sound und ein natürliches Sustain ohne Verzerrungen.
Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Ganz egal, ob du eine Extraportion Biss oder Samt benötigst – mit dem CS-3 kannst du deinen Sound flexibel an deine Musik anpassen.

Compression evens out volume differences by lowering loud sounds and raising quiet ones. The CS-3's Attack knob lets you set how quickly the circuit makes this adjustment. Turning it clockwise preserves string attacks more strongly and creates a crisper, more percussive sound. The more you turn the knob counterclockwise, the more the signal peaks are reduced. The sustain knob controls the strength of the compression and ensures a tight sound and natural sustain without distortion.
The CS-3 is based on a powerful VCA circuit that provides stable and consistent compression with minimal noise. With its characteristic balanced response and compression characteristics, the pedal delivers transparent sound across all playing styles.
