Description

A rich distortion pedal suitable for all kinds of amplifiers. Generally speaking, distortion pedals are designed to reproduce sound of cranked up tube amp from a clean amp. The original Moollon Distortion was rather primarily designed to work in tandem with a cranked tube amplifier for a distorted guitar tone with rich harmonic content, which produced a variety of resulting tones depending on the the amplifier’s setting. BASTET is different in that it is a distortion pedal which is specifically designed to reproduce the sound of a cranked tube amp, even when used with a clean amp. BASTET features Volume, Dist, Tone and Middle controls. Using this Middle control, BASTET can control the 400-600Hz frequency range by +/- 6dB, helping to provide much more usable range of timbre control for guitarists, who need to dial in the right amount of midrange boost or cut to suit one’s needs in a distortion pedal. In addition, BASTET has a low-impedance output (regardless of the pedal being on or off), so that there is no volume drop caused by impedance mismatch when used with a volume pedal w/tuner split, maintaining a constant output.
