COMPRESSOR

The Flat Earth is a compressor pedal whose design is not a clone of a classic circuit. It uses a “feed-forward” design which determines compression by analysing the signal before the compressor block. It is built to avoid issues like pumping, noise and tone-loss often found in older compressor designs. The control layout is simple: Level (output level), Sustain (amount of compression) and Attack (allows some pick attack through). It features full bypass with relay switching and a fail-safe circuit so that if the board power is lost it automatically goes to bypass. The pedal is built in Ottawa, Canada by MayFly Audio.
