The Super 800 PLUS is a bass preamp / amp-emulator pedal based on the 1980s Gallien Krueger 800RB amplifier. It features a 4-band active EQ (Bass, Lo Mid, Hi Mid, Treble) plus controls for Volume (gain), Master volume, and a Boost function. The pedal also includes three toggle switches — Lo Cut, Mid Contour, and Hi Boost — for shaping the fundamental tone before the EQ section. A full-size XLR DI output is built in, allowing a balanced signal to be sent directly to a mixing board or audio interface for live or recording use. The pedal is housed in a compact 1590BB2 enclosure with top-mounted jacks, uses a standard 9 V DC (center-negative) supply (internally boosted to ±15 V for headroom), and employs soft-touch relay true-bypass switching.
