A dedicated gold Thru control dictates how hard the output of the first stage feeds into the second stage. Independent combined Attack/Release controls for each stage along with a Dry blend knob allow fine-tuning for parallel compression setups. Dual LED VU meters offer clear visual feedback on gain reduction for both compression circuits simultaneously. Um Halbtöne nach oben und unten … 12 nach oben und 12 nach unten. So einfach ist das. Die Pfeiltaste rechts erhöht die Tonhöhe um einen Halbton, die Pfeiltaste links senkt sie um einen Halbton. Das DISPLAY zeigt die Anzahl der Halbtöne in beide Richtungen an: (-)1 bis (-)12 und (+)1 bis (+)12. Die Latenzzeit bietet die schnellste Leistung aller derartigen Ein-Funktion-Pedale auf dem Markt. Etwa die HÄLFTE der gängigen ähnlichen Einzelpedale. Die Klanggestaltung wurde sorgfältig programmiert, sodass in der Tonhöhe oder Tonart veränderte Akkorde genauso klingen wie der unveränderte Akkordklang. Dieser praktische Ansatz ermöglicht es dem Nutzer, die Tonart digital zu wechseln, ohne dabei die klangliche Integrität beim Spielen des Hauptteils eines Songs wesentlich zu beeinträchtigen. The CHUG CAPO is exactly what it says it is. A digital bi-directional Capo.
Just like a Capo, the thought process is familiar to any guitarist because it is linear like the fretboard.
Up & down by semitones…. 12 up & 12 down. That simple. The Arrow button to the right raise pitch by semitone and the Arrow button on the left drops the pitch by semitone. The DISPLAY shows the number of semitones in either direction: (-)1 thru (-)12 and (+)1 thru (+)12. The latency offers the fastest performance of any single function pedal like this in the market. Roughly HALF of popular similar single pedals. The voicing has been meticulously programmed so pitch/key changed CHORDS sound the same as an unaltered chord sound. This practical approach allows the user to digitally change keys with minimum compromise on sonic integrity for playing the body of a song. Fast tempo right hand picking and chugging won’t give the feel of your playing dragging behind due to latency like other pedals. This is the key advantage of the CHUG CAPO.
NOTE: For Solos, some digital artifact is unavoidable and audible as in all pitch manipulators, but the tone remains faithful to the source. Additional features include the MIX function which allows blending of any pitch with the dry signal and the FAV function which allows for one favorite preset to be save and accessible by the FAV button or non-latching footswitch. (footswitch not included,1/8” to 1/4” TS cable is included).

Eines der wichtigsten Elemente seines Sounds war das Cry Baby Wah, dass er in einer Zeit spielte, als Wah-Pedale lange aus der Mode waren. Durch seine Erfahrung aus jahrelangen Touren half Dimebag Dunlop bei der Entwicklung des flexibelsten Wah-Pedals aller Zeiten: Dem Dime Cry Baby From Hell Wah. 

Dunlop baute das Dime Cry Baby Wah-Pedal auf der Grundlage des 535Q, nahm die Q-Control, den 6-Wege Range Schalter und den schalt- und regelbaren Boost, modifizierte die Sweep Range speziell nach den Bedürfnissen von Dimebag, fügte einen Regler für die max. Sweep Range und einen zweiten Output hinzu und installierte zwei Status LEDs an der Rückseite des Pedals, die den Zustand von Wah und Boost anzeigen. Als letztes Detail wurde die klassische Gummi-Matte auf der Oberseite durch Skateboard Skip Tape getauscht, damit das Pedal auch in Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit absolut rutschfest bleibt.

Dimebag Darrell combined a cowboy’s swagger with high-gain riffs and squealing pinch harmonic-laden leads. One of the most significant elements of his sound and dynamics was the Cry Baby Wah, and at a time when wah pedals had fallen out of fashion, Dime flew his wah flag high. Armed with his hard-earned expertise and insight from years of touring, he helped Dunlop devise the most versatile wah in their lineup: The Dime Cry Baby from Hell Wah.

Work on this pedal first began some 20 years ago when Dime, a long-time user of the super customizable Cry Baby 535Q Multi-Wah, wanted even more freedom when setting up his rig on stage. Starting with the 535Q, Dunlop carried over its Q control, 6-way range selector, and adjustable kick-in boost. Next, Dunlop hot-rodded it with a wide sweep range for Dime to dig deep and fly high, a control to adjust the pedal’s toe-down frequency, an extra output for splitting your signal to a separate FX chain, and back-mounted LED indicators to conveniently show whether the wah is on and whether the boost is engaged. Finally, Dunlop replaced the standard rubber tread with skateboard skid tape so that your foot doesn’t slip on any spilled beverages.
