Description

The Alone is a versatile analog flanger pedal designed to simplify modulation by stripping away unnecessary complexity while offering expansive sonic texturing. It features an intuitive three-position mode toggle that shifts the circuit between traditional flange with feedback, a liquid chorus-flange with a longer delay time and no feedback, and a randomized wow and flutter setting tailored for tape degradation textures. External control is provided via dedicated speed and depth knobs, alongside a momentary dynamic function that accelerates or decelerates the LFO speed when the footswitch is held down. Code wizardry for the microcontroller elements of the project was developed in collaboration with Eric at Heuristic Industries. Housed in a durable stompbox enclosure, the unit provides top-mounted input and output jacks for streamlined pedalboard integration.
