Und wenn er sich in einem Solo so richtig ausleben will, tritt er auf ein Cry Baby Wah. Deshalb haben wir bei Dunlop gemeinsam mit Joe das Joe Bonamassa Signature Cry Baby entwickelt, das speziell darauf ausgelegt ist, sich perfekt in Joes System einzufügen – vom Aussehen bis zum Klang. Äußerlich besticht es durch eine edle Kupferoberseite mit einem schwarz lackierten Korpus. Im Inneren verfügt es über große Durchsteckkomponenten im Vintage-Stil, einen Halo-Induktor (für zusätzlichen Obertongehalt), einen Ausgangspuffer (um Impedanzunterschiede bei Vintage-Fuzz-Pedalen zu verhindern) und einen Schalter für True-Bypass- oder Non-True-Bypass-Betrieb (Joe bevorzugt Non-True-Bypass, da dieser die Höhen abdunkelt). On the inside, it features large, vintage-style thru-hole components, a Halo inductor (for added harmonic content), an output buffer (to prevent impedance imbalance with vintage fuzz pedals), and a switch for true-bypass or non-true-bypass operation (Joe prefers non-True Bypass as it darkens the high end). Seine Vielseitigkeit macht das Carcosa Fuzz zum perfekten Kumpanen für angezerrte oder cleane Amps. True Bypass, Tonnen an Output, das Antlitz des “Königs in Gelb“ setzen das Carcosa in Szene für fuzzige Crazyness! Das DOD Carcosa Fuzz verfügt über eine (leicht) übertriebene Mid-Range und sein Treble Charakter stellt im Mix ganz weit nach vorne. Allerdings sind mit extremen Bias (AFTER) Einstellungen eine Menge abgefahren kranke Over-the-Top Sounds möglich. Nun nach langem Warten ist dieses einzigartige und langerwartete Fuzz auch in Europa erhältlich.

The DOD Carcosa Fuzz is a doorway into an alternate fuzz universe, where classic tones of legend coexist with splattered and shattered Pollock abstractions. Combining the Carcosa’s wide-ranging AFTER bias control with two toggle positions creates tones that range from porcine fatness to dessicated shards. This versatility makes the Carcosa Fuzz a good companion for dirty or clean amps. True bypass, tons of output, and the visage of the King in Yellow sets the stage for fuzzy madness. The DOD Carcosa Fuzz has an exaggerated mid-range and treble character that help it stand out in a mix. It has been designed to cut through a dense and heavy band but still have great note articulation with chords. However, when extreme bias (AFTER) ranges are selected many wild and over-the-top sounds are possible.

The EHX Pitch Fork transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. The pitch shift amount can be set to a fixed interval or continuously varied by an expression pedal or control voltage.

Das Spatial Delivery ist ein Voltage-Controlled-Filter, für funky und teils auch abgedrehte Auto-Wah-, Up-Sweep-, Down-Sweep-, VCF- und Sample-&-Hold-Effekte. Das EarthQuaker Devices Spatial Delivery verfügt über die drei verschiedene Modi „Up Sweep“, „Down Sweep“ und „Sample & Hold“. Im „Sample & Hold“-Modus wird der Filter-Effekt per Zufallsgenerator gesteuert, in den Modi „Up Sweep“ und „Down Sweep“ reagiert der Effekt dynamisch auf die Anschlagstärke der Gitarre. Mit den Reglern „Range“, „Resonance“ und „Filter“ lässt sich der Effekt in weiten Bereichen variieren. Das Spatial Delivery sollte möglichst am Anfang der Signalkette stehen, für volle Picking-Dynamik. Fuzz- und Overdrive-Pedale sollten direkt dahinter angeordnet werden, sie bereichern die Sound- und Effektpalette zusammen mit dem Spatial Delivery enorm.
Zudem funktioniert der Fußschalter als Standard Latching Schalter als auch als Momentary Switch, sodass du den Effekt immer nur genau so lange nutzen kannst wie du ihn brauchst. Ausgestattet mit einem Relais-gesteuerten True Bypass wird das Spatial Delivery in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA hergestellt.

The Spatial Delivery is a voltage controlled envelope filter capable of generating Auto-Wah, Up Sweep, Down Sweep, VCF and Sample & Hold effects. The EarthQuaker Devices Spatial Delivery features three modes, Up Sweep, Down Sweep and Sample and Hold. In Sample and Hold the filter is controlled by random voltage, in the Up Sweep and Down Sweep modes the effect dynamically reacts to the guitarist’s pick attack. The Range, Resonance and Filter controls allow for further fine tuning. It is recommended to place the Spatial Delivery first in your signal chain, fuzz and overdrive pedals placed right after the Spatial Delivery complement perfectly the sound and greatly increase the pedal’s sound palette. It can be activated in standard latching operation or in momentary operation, by just holding the footswitch down for as long as you’d use the effect.
