Delay und Tremolo werden für Klangteppiche und Rockabilly-/Surf-Sounds eingesetzt. 
Das Wah kommt hauptsächlich im Solo zur Geltung. Der Equalizer dient ausschließlich als Booster.

Launched in 1976, the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble was not only the world’s first chorus effect pedal, but also the very first BOSS pedal. Three years later, this inventive new sound was squeezed into the blue CE-2 Chorus, and chorus pedals have remained in the compact lineup ever since. Four decades on, the spacious modulated tone of the signature BOSS effect is still loved by musicians everywhere. In 2016, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BOSS innovation, the original analog chorus sounds are now reborn with the Waza Craft CE-2W. The CE-2W’s Standard mode faithfully recreates the classic CE-2 chorus sound, and adds an expansive new sound field with stereo output, which was unavailable in the mono CE-2. CE-1 mode fully reproduces the stereo chorus and vibrato sounds of the legendary CE-1, with the addition of variable chorus depth not available in the original pedal. To commemorate the birth of BOSS effects, the CE-2W is made exclusively in Japan, just as the original CE-1 and CE-2 were.

The MXR Uni-Vibe Chorus/Vibrato delivers the same lush, chewy textures that players have used since the late '60s. Updated with modern gigging players in mind, this effect now it comes in a standard MXR housing—a fraction of the size and weight of the original—with true bypass switching.

With its simple three-knob interface, you can dial in the effect to your taste in short order. First, use the VIBE switch to select either Chorus Mode—dry signal mixed with pitch-shifted signal—or Vibrato Mode—only pitch-shifted signal. Then, use the LEVEL control to set the effect volume, the SPEED control to set the sweep rate, and the DEPTH control to set overall intensity.

Providing continuous dynamic attenuation across mono signal chains, the pedal uses an analog potentiometer mechanism within a mechanical rocker enclosure. Impedance matching is switchable between 250k Ohm high-impedance mode for passive pickups and 25k Ohm low-impedance mode for active instruments or line-level signals. Dynamic sweeps enable gradual volume swells, expressive level adjustments, and complete signal muting in the full heel-down position. Passive circuit design ensures unaltered frequency response without active coloration across the audio path. Direct instrument connection is established via single 6.35 mm TS input and output jacks. Integrated mechanical treadle action allows precise pedalboard volume management without requiring external power.
