Description
The Manson Guitar Works Supermassive Black Fuzz is a high-gain distortion and fuzz pedal designed to capture the expansive, heavy tones associated with the brand's association with Matt Bellamy of Muse. It is based on a silicon-transistor circuit designed to deliver thick, saturated textures while maintaining clarity and low-end definition. The pedal features a straightforward control set including Level, Tone, and Gain to shape the harmonic response from aggressive crunch to wall-of-sound fuzz. Its unique aesthetic features an internal blue LED that glows through the "Supermassive" lettering on the faceplate when the effect is engaged. This pedal was part of a limited run of boutique effects produced by the UK-based luthier. It is engineered to provide the massive sustain and grit required for alternative and stadium rock styles.Media
