Description
The Makino Koubou (Makino Kobo) Tube Driver 808-M is a boutique analog overdrive pedal hand-built in Japan. Based on the iconic Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer circuit, it is voiced to capture the warm, harmonic drive of a vintage tube amplifier. The circuit incorporates selected vintage components, including NOS RC4558 operational amplifiers (such as the Malaysian chip variant), to enhance touch sensitivity and high-end clarity. Controls feature standard parameters for Output Level, Tone, and Gain to shape saturation. Built in limited production runs with custom hand-painted enclosures, the pedal utilizes true-bypass switching.What's missing here?
