Formerly known as The Satellite, the Sändare is a dynamic, low to medium gain Overdrive and Booster that retains the tonal characteristics of your guitar and amp. The perfect choice if you like the sound of your guitar and amp and are looking for a pedal to add a bit of organic drive or push your amp naturally into breakup.

 

The Voice control can be used to dial in the overall eq response of the pedal while the High and Low controls are flexible and well balanced with a musical response. The combination of the three controls enables the pedal to be configured for an even frequency response or tailored to your guitar and amp.

The Zola is a high headroom clean boost with a linear, transparent response. An internal voltage multiplier converts 9V internally up to 30V for unparalleled headroom. The incredible 30V of headroom means the boost stays totally clean at all levels and can handle large input signals. It also makes Zola suitable for use in amp effects loops. EQ flexibility is provided by the two band active EQ offering 15db of Boost and Cut ability to the treble and bass response. Use the EQ controls to fatten or tighten the low end, add presence or smooth the top end or match the EQ response between different instruments.

Zola

The Dual Drive combines a Tubescreamer style overdrive and a Rat pedal into one enclosure. Each effect can be used independently or both can be used at the same time.

The TS style drive has been modded for asymmetrical clipping for more even order harmonics and a touch less compression. Along with a simplified signal path for a touch more clarity.

The Rat side is a straight up Rat with a couple of mods. Clipping has been changed to asymmetrical clipping for more even order harmonics and a touch less compression. The Tone control works in the conventional direction. (Not backwards like on an original Rat.)

Signal chain is TS into Rat.

9-18V operation is possible. 18V gives more headroom to the sound and a slightly punchier feel to the tone

Dual Drive

The Lonely Robot is a Rat inspired overdrive/distortion pedal.

Expanded tonal options and an internal voltage doubler take this Rat inspired pedal to new sonic places. A post-gain active bass eq allows for boosting or cutting of the low end while the voltage doubler increases the headroom available. 

The EQ Control alters the amount of gain applied at specific frequencies. Turning to the right will result in a brighter, tighter tone with more gain. Turning to the left will result in a fuller tone with less gain. You can use the EQ control to alter the overall voicing of the pedal. (Note: this a tweaked version of what is commonly know as the “Reutz” mod.)

Lonely Robot

The Zig Zag is a dual stage overdrive.

The circuit begins with a Jfet preamp input stage which adds a tube style feel to the pick attack. After the Preamp the signal is fed into the second gain stage which is controlled by the Gain control. The Gain and Preamp controls are voiced differently so that blending in differing amounts of each changes the overall response of the feel, eq and gain characteristics. The dual gain stages allow for a wide range of gain from low to singing saturation.
