Außer Pete’s leichten Modifikationen, welche diesem neuen Pedal ein tighteres Low-End und weichere Höhenfrequenzen verschaffen, wird hier die exakt gleiche Gain-Struktur geboten wie bei den High-Gain Einstellung des original Pro-Series PlexiTone… es spielt sich lediglich besser mit verschiedenen Amps. Der Single PlexiTone beinhaltet außerdem die neue DC-DC Konverter-Schaltung, wodurch das Pedal mit einem 9V DC Adapter betrieben werden kann und dennoch auf dem gleichen +-12V Level arbeitet wie der originale AC betriebene PlexiTone. Dies erlaubt die Verwendung der gleichen hochqualitativen Komponenten, die den herausragenden Ton und Headroom erzeugen für den der originale Pro-Series PlexiTone so berühmt ist!

The new `single channel` Carl Martin PlexiTone was designed in association with Pete Thorn, and is housed in a small pedal-board friendly housing with 3 knobs and 1 switch. Apart from Pete’s slight modifications that give this new pedal a tighter bottom-end and slightly softer high frequencies, it is exactly the same gain structure as the High Gain setting on the original Pro-Series PlexiTone….it just plays better with different amps. The single Plexi also incorporates the new DC-DC converter circuitry, so the pedal can be powered by a regulated 9V Power Supply but will still operate on the same +-12V level as the original AC powered PlexiTone. This allows for the use the same high quality components which provide the same tone and headroom that make the CM Pro-Series stand out from the rest!

The TS Mini is a compact version of Ibanez’s legendary Tube Screamer overdrive pedal. It is optimized for pedalboards where space is at a premium while retaining the characteristic “mid-hump” overdrive that made the Tube Screamer family iconic.

Nun bringt der Hersteller aus Long Island, New York, mit dem Philosopher’s Tone Micro eine abgespeckte Version des Pedals, das zum einen in einem kleinere Gehäuse steckt und zum anderen auf den Distortion verzichtet.

Famous for its noiseless clean sustain, the Philosopher’s Tone has staked its claim in the crowded world of compressor pedals. In addition to Volume and Sustain controls, the Philosopher’s Tone features a parallel Blend knob that allows the musician to mix their instrument’s original tone with the compressed sound effect. This technique restores natural pick-attack and allows more extreme sustain settings to remain musical. The Treble control provides up to a 6db cut or boost at 2kHz for fine-tuning the frequency response of the effect. Platzsparen muss nicht heißen auf Funktionalität zu verzichten – das DVP Volume (X) Pedal macht alles das, was sein großer Bruder das DVP3 kann – bei halber Größe und genauso robust gebaut im leichten Alu-Gehäuse. Wie das DVP3 hat es auch die rutschfeste Pedaloberfläche und den patentierten Low-Friction-Band-Drive, der für einen sanften und gleichmäßigen Regelweg und zuverlässige Performance sorgt. Für maximalen Komfort ist die Leichtgängigkeit des Pedals vollkommen einstellbar.

Der AUX Ausgang vereint Tuner und Expression Funktion in einer Buchse, die per internem Schalter festgelegt werden kann. Über interne Trim-Potis kann das Minimum-Volumen des Pedals eingestellt werden und wenn du willst, kannst du auch die Funktionsrichtung umkehren – ein weiterer interner Schalter macht’s möglich.

The AUX output combines tuner and expression functionality into one jack that can be toggled with a switch inside the pedal. When using the DVP4 as an expression pedal, you can use an internal pot to set the minimum level of the parameter you’re controlling with the rocker. If you want to reverse the function of the heel-down and toe-down positions, the DVP4 has another internal switch that allows you to do so.
