This is a board a built to accommodate both my live gigs and my session work. The amp-less set-up allows me to rock up to any studio and get my guitar sound on the fly without relying on the studio's gear. So far, I'm using the Simplifier by DSM and Humboldt because of its versatility and features. It allows me to come out DI stereo, eliminating the need for an external DI box and can emulate Marshall sounds, Deluxe and AC30 tones. 

Another interesting piece is the Kernom Ridge. I love this OD pedal for experimenting and hunting for tones, while I rely on my Full-Drive 2 for my main overdrive sounds.I've had the FD2 for so long, so I know how it reacts to my playing and my board would feel empty without it!

My favourite pedal is the Bluesky. In university I worked as a promoter for a nightclub earning around 20 bucks. a week. I saved up for months to get this guy and it's been on my board ever since!

FFM1 Silicon Fuzz Face Mini

Der Dyna Comp zählt zu den renommiertesten Pedalkompressoren überhaupt, und mit dem M228 Dyna Comp Deluxe hat MXR eine moderne Neuinterpretation des Klassikers geschaffen. Ein besonderes Feature ist der Clean-Regler, mit dem sich das unbearbeitete Direktsignal stufenlos hinzumischen lässt. So bleibt der Attack des Signals auch bei starker Kompression erhalten. Die Attackzeit kann außerdem zwischen "Slow" und "Fast" umgeschaltet werden. Besonders praktisch ist der Tone-Regler, der den häufigen Nachteil älterer Kompressoren behebt, die oft hohe Frequenzen abschneiden und das Signal dadurch dumpf klingen lassen. Mit dem Tone-Regler kann dies perfekt ausgeglichen werden.

The Dyna Comp is one of the most renowned pedal compressors ever, and with the M228 Dyna Comp Deluxe, MXR has created a modern reinterpretation of the classic. A special feature is the Clean control, which allows the unprocessed direct signal to be mixed in continuously. This means that the attack of the signal is retained even with heavy compression. The attack time can also be switched between “Slow” and “Fast”. The Tone control is particularly practical as it eliminates the common disadvantage of older compressors, which often cut off high frequencies and make the signal sound dull. This can be perfectly compensated for with the Tone control.

Housed in a beautiful powder coated Blue 16ga. steel enclosure, the dual-channel Full-Drive 2 Mosfet gives you the best of both worlds. The first channel is the Overdrive Mode, capable of clean boost or non-compressed overdrive or choose light to medium softer overdrives all while retaining your guitar's original tone. The Tone knob is a very effective presence control that can smooth out or add upper harmonics. The second channel is the "Boost Mode" with its own separate distortion control for medium to higher gains with a more singing violin-like sustain!

One mini-toggle lets you choose between a "Vintage" FD2 sound with mid-heavy tones that cut through the mix and "FM (flat-mids)" for a more natural, transparent sound that works awesome with a Strat's neck pickup.
The other mini-toggle lets you choose between Mosfet and Normal clipping modes. Normal mode is even more asymmetrical, sweeter and more open, with no "blanket" over the sound.

Featuring a unique circuit design, the MXR FET Driver captures the rich, creamy sound of an overdriven tube amplifier by cascading an op-amp gain stage into a FET stage. The FET Driver thickens up lead tones with musical, amp-like distortion and sustain without the fragility and inconsistency associated with tubes.

The FET Driver features a simple but responsive set of controls. Set your volume level with the Output control, and then use the Drive control to dial in the grit, from subtle soft-clipping to early stage distortion. We borrowed his amps so that the MXR team could carefully analyze all the sonic qualities that make them sound so darn good. After much analysis and A/B testing, our engineers rebuilt the amps from scratch in pedal circuit form and fit them into a single housing. The High Gain and Crunch Gain sections each have their own controls, while the Blend control allows you to mix them together just like Green Day did in the studio.
