Description

Hand-built recreation of the vintage 1960s British Tone Bender fuzz circuit delivers rich harmonic saturation and sustained lead tones. Three hand-selected germanium transistors provide authentic vintage clipping characteristics alongside smooth, violin-like sustain. Straightforward control parameters allow fine adjustment of output level, fuzz intensity, and broad tonal response across different guitar pickups. A sturdy metal enclosure houses point-to-point style wiring optimized for reduced noise compared to original period units. True bypass switching ensures pure, uncolored signal integrity when the fuzz effect is disengaged. The circuit preserves midrange focus and aggressive low-end punch to cut authoritatively through any dense mix.
