Description
The Lex Bos CoolDrive is a boutique solid-state overdrive pedal handcrafted in the Netherlands as a compact alternative to the brand's tube-driven SuperDrive. It features two channels (low and high gain) with a shared tone stack, specifically designed to produce more odd-order harmonics than its tube-based predecessor. The circuit offers a "compact" and slightly less transparent sound that emphasizes distinct coloration and saturation characteristic of high-end solid-state designs. Developed in collaboration with professional guitarists like JP Beijersbergen, it aims to provide an inspiring, touch-sensitive response.
