Description

Designed in the UK by Laney Amplification as part of the Black Country Customs series, the DB-EAST-PRE is a dual-channel bass preamp pedal engineered in collaboration with bass legend East. The circuit combines two independent preamp channels with comprehensive active EQ sections and custom voicing switches for tailored frequency control. An onboard studio-grade compressor with adjustable attack and threshold provides smooth dynamic control and extended sustain. Integrated balanced XLR DI output with ground lift capabilities allows direct connection to front-of-house mixing consoles or recording equipment. Designed for versatile signal routing, it includes a switchable FX loop, tuner output, and auxiliary input for flexible rig integration. Housed in a heavy-duty metal enclosure, it features dedicated footswitches for channel switching, mute, and effect bypass.
