Description
Combining a high-headroom buffer and a clean booster into a rugged stompbox, the circuit employs a Class AB driver paired with a proprietary True Coil output transformer. It incorporates an always-active variable gain recovery control called Color, providing up to 3.5 dB of signal restoration or harmonic enhancement to counter cable-induced degradation. Engaging the primary footswitch introduces up to 19 dB of transparent boost without clipping or unwanted mid-frequency coloration. The custom transformer imparts smooth, extended high frequencies alongside tight and articulate low-end definition. Featuring a flat frequency response from 20 Hz upward, the design functions transparently on electric guitar as well as bass. Low output impedance enables seamless integration anywhere along complex pedal chains or amplifier effects loops.Media
