Signature soundscapes, dual-amp split, and a fuzz born from their own music—Théo’s board is more than functional, it’s autobiographical.

At its heart lies Capharnaüm, the signature fuzz RhPf Electronics designed for KAHFA, from KAHFA. Inspired by the band’s own track, it’s a sonic tribute to their emotional weight—tight grooves, saturated riffs, and shouted sermons. Thick, snarling, and elemental, it’s more than a fuzz. It’s their sound, etched in circuitry.

From there, the board unfolds in two paths:

Signal A: Creative chaos—starting with rhythmic pulses from the BOSS SL-2 Slicer, through wah, Triplegraph, and Whammy Ricochet. A clever loop setup allows toggling between the Plasma Coil and Capharnaüm, before delay from the EHX Canyon and out to the Victory V4 The Jack amp.
In the amp’s loop: a second Canyon, Walrus Slö, and MXR Phase 90 for ambient tail sculpting.

Signal B: Sub-heavy grit. Runs from the Lehle Little Dual II into a BOSS TU-3, down to a separate board with the EHX Nano POG (-1 octave), Mosferatwo overdrive, NS-2 Noise Suppressor, and Mimiq Doubler, landing in a Peavey bass amp for devastating low-end punch.

Hidden underneath: Lehle switching and Strymon power, mounted on a custom Rolf pedalboards board built in Jura, Switzerland.

This board doesn’t just shape Théo’s tone—it documents it.

The Dunlop CBM95 Cry Baby Mini is a compact wah pedal designed to deliver classic Cry Baby wah tones in a reduced footprint enclosure. It features a selectable three-position voicing switch that allows the player to choose between different wah frequency ranges inspired by vintage Cry Baby circuits. The pedal uses the same Fasel inductor found in traditional Cry Baby models to maintain familiar tonal character. Its smaller housing is intended for pedalboards where space is limited while retaining the feel and sweep of a full-size wah. The CBM95 is built with a durable metal chassis for live performance use. It is part of Dunlop’s modern Cry Baby Mini series.

SL-2 Slicer

The Triplegraph is a digital octave pedal designed by CopperSound Pedals and Jack White, featuring three proprietary telegraph keys and an integrated auxiliary loop. Utilizing a high-power DSP Blackfin Processor, Triplegraph triggers an octave down with the left key, octave up with the right key, while the middle key activates a killswitch or auxiliary loop. In KILL mode, the middle key acts as a momentary killswitch, allowing the player to remove their dry signal and attain a fully wet octave up and/or down when used in conjunction with the octave keys. In AUXILIARY mode, the player can connect one or more of their favorite effects in parallel with the octaves via the send/return jacks, and trigger them in momentary bursts. The high and low octaves can be triggered in parallel with the dry signal when the octave keys are pressed independently. The octaves themselves track seamlessly with zero latency, and can be triggered in latching or momentary modes, using our “Loctave” toggle switches. The telegraph keys themselves are composed of custom stainless steel and aluminum components, making them indestructible and exceedingly durable for both hand and foot operation. Oft kopiert aber nie erreicht, rangiert das schwer zu findende, originale, Phase 90 bei den Sammlern alter Bodentreter ganz weit oben. Das Original - seit der Gründung der Firma Dunlop bis in die späten 70er Jahre erhältlich – definierte den klassischen Phase Shifter Sound und war in allen Musikstilen zu hören, egal ob Hard Rock, Jazz-Fusion oder Funk-Hits. Der nach dem Kultpedal der Firma designte Phaser kommt puritanisch mit einem Regler aus, über den der Phaser-Speed einstellbar ist. Eine rote LED über dem stabilen Fußschalter zeigt den Schaltstatus an. Das massive Spritzgußgehäuse verfügt über jeweils 1/4" Klinke In- und Out-Eingänge. Betrieben wird der Kulttreter mit einer 9V Batterie, die in einem leicht zugänglichen Batteriefach auf der Unterseite Platz findet. Es ist erhältlich in der ursprünglichen orangenen Farbe.

My rhthym guitar sound is based on the use of a 1995 Matchless Tube Pre-amp (original Hot Box before the labeling) running dual mono into a Marshall Valvestate VS232 and to a Peavey Decade, which isn't specifically depicted on the board schematics. 

To avoid any potential impedance issues with the Matchless Tube Preamp, I use a Vertex Interface buffer to assist my pedal chain as follows: running from the guitar to the Send input, from the Send out I go to the Matchless and then back into the Guitar Input of the Vertex. Then from the Guitar output (using a Vertex Y-cable), we go to both a Sonic Research Tuner ST-300 (in true bypass, on all all the time, no output use) and the split goes to a Stone Deaf PDF-1. 

I use a Lehle mono volume pedal after my gain stages to roll up or down the overall volume while maintaining the selected gain outputs (capabilities from the Matchless Preamp, a Stone Deaf PDF-1 and an MXR Fat Sugar).  From the PDF-1 we follow a basic right of passage, going from its non-expressive output to the Fat Sugar input, then out to a Subdecay custom Envelope Filter, then to the input of a GE-7 EQ (with XTS Mod).  

From the GE-7, we go to the Lehle mono volume, then on to a JHS Kill Switch input (because I love having a panic button).  From the Kill Switch we go out to a Thorpy’s CamoFlange with dual outs.  Here, using a Lehle Little Dual amp switcher to split my mono signals to one or both amps through the Vertex, we go from one flanger output to the AB input of the Little Dual and the other output of the flanger to the input of a Foxgear EchoSex Baby. The EchoSex runs out to the A input of the Little Dual. The Little Dual then feeds the two separate amplifier input channels on the Vertex interface from its respective A & B outputs, then using both separate outputs from the Vertex Interface Buffer to both my Marshall and Peavey for a mixed blend ultimately controlled by the Little Dual. 

I use a TrueTone 1Spot CS-12 to power everything except the Matchless, which has it's own built-in power cable/requirement.
