Description
The KingTone The Soloist is a versatile overdrive pedal featuring a circuit based on a classic Tube Screamer design. Housed in a custom-designed CNC aluminum enclosure with top-mounted jacks, it utilizes high-quality 4558 operational amplifier chips to deliver dynamic clean boosts and singing, tube-like sustain. It provides independent tone and body controls alongside a multi-position top-end toggle switch to fine-tune low-end weight and high-frequency bite. Internal and external configuration options include unique alternative voicings such as an SRV mode that blends a clean signal into the path for enhanced clarity. True bypass switching ensures clean signal preservation when the effect is disengaged. Power can be supplied via an external 9V to 18V direct current source or an internal battery.Media
