Description

Compact three-voice digital FM synthesizer unit that faithfully reproduces the sound engine of the classic Yamaha DX7. Built around a six-operator architecture with 32 algorithms, the digital circuit provides full compatibility with SYS-EX patch files from the original hardware. Dedicated Modulator/Carrier edit knobs, transpose and velocity sliders, an arpeggiator, and an onboard chorus effect offer direct sound manipulation. An integrated 16-step loop sequencer supports parameter motion automation, active step controls, and pattern chaining for dynamic performances. Designed for portable operation, the housing features a touch-panel keyboard, built-in mini speaker, and mini-jack sync connectivity. Power is supplied via six AA batteries or an optional external AC adapter.
