Die Kernschaltung des EHX Bass Clone Chorus Pedals ist nahezu identisch mit der des legendären Small Clone Chorus, aber mit zusätzlichen Funktionen speziell für Bass. The EHX Bass Clone Chorus pedal’s core circuitry is nearly identical to the legendary Small Clone chorus, but with added features especially for bass. Chorus is a combination of modulated and dry signals. The Bass Clone’s Crossover switch cuts low end from the modulated signal so the pedal delivers a more accurately articulated bottom end with excellent note definition. The Treble control affects the whole signal while the Bass control only affects the dry half. Together with the Crossover switch they provide precise sound shaping that lets you achieve a tight, focused bass guitar sound with a well-defined low end and shimmering chorus on top.

The Echoplex EP-3 tape echo unit is famous for its deliciously warm, organic modulation and sweet musical voice—a key component to some of the most iconic guitar tones from the '70s onward. The original EP-3 units, however, are expensive, temperamental, and larger than a VCR.

That's where the EP103 Echoplex Delay comes in. It's the size of a Phase 90, and it delivers the EP-3's legendary tones with a simple control interface and a hi-fi all-analog dry path. The Delay control sets the time between repeats—from 65ms to 750ms—the Sustain control sets the number of repeats, and the Volume control sets the output level of your repeats.

This Klon KTR can produce transparent boost to warm rich overdrive tones, all with the signature mid-range boost that it is famous for.

The Klon KTR is best used pushing a tube amp that's on the edge of breaking up. The KTR is designed to overdrive the amp further into breakup, producing a lively and dynamic lead tone. Besides its obvious mid-range voicing, it is a rather transparent overdrive pedal that wedges its way into your amp to really make it sing in a focused, classic rock and roll kind of way.

Optisch unterscheidet sich das Reissue, von der goldenen Beschriftung abgesehen, nicht vom Original und kommt mit identischem Gehäuse und Potibelegung.

Der POT entspricht im Wesentlichen der Hälfte des King of Tone und verfügt serienmäßig über einen externen MODE-Schalter. Er entspricht dem KOT mit der Option „HIGHER GAIN“, sodass man den gesamten Regelbereich des DRIVE-Reglers nutzen kann und er im oberen Bereich etwas mehr Drive bietet als ein KOT mit normaler Verstärkung. Der DISTORTION-Modus wurde jedoch verbessert und liefert nun einen lauteren, kräftigeren Distortion-Sound.

The POT is pretty much the same as half of the King of Tone, with an external MODE switch standard. It is the same as the KOT with HIGHER GAIN option, so you can use the full range of the DRIVE knob and it has a little more drive at the top than a normal gain KOT. The DISTORTION mode is improved though, for a louder, stronger distortion sound.
