With the AfterShock Bass Distortion it gets really dirty. By itself and directly out of the box, it comes with three massive bass distortion engines of enormous tonal range. A super-compact adaptation of his Tech 21 Ultra Bass 1000 Signature head, the DP-3X also recreates the sound dUg originally developed way back in the ‘80s, merging high-end distortion with low-end bass. Prior to his signature head, this involved running a guitar amp and a bass amp together, along with rack full of effects. Wanting to further streamline his gear for occasions when his full Tech 21 rig simply isn’t practical, dUg collaborated on the all-analog DP-3X pedal. Personally beta-testing the DP-3X on a European tour, dUg encountered a different backline in each and every venue. But no matter which amp was on stage, dUg was able to nail his immense tone each and every night.

In addition to achieving dUg’s unique tone, the DP-3X has the flexibility to provide traditional bass amp sounds as well. Mix mode engages Drive to bring in distortion and Chunk for upper harmonics. A Gain button provides additional distortion and compression. In clean/full-range mode, Drive and Chunk disengage, while Comp and Gain remain active. Other controls include 3-band active EQ with switchable Mid and a master Volume. Features include chromatic tuner, headphone capability, and an XLR Output to go direct to the PA desk or studio board without compromising detail, warmth or responsiveness.

Dieser Effekt, der in den Achtzigern in einigen berühmten Gitarrenaufnahmen auftauchte, war damals für uns “normale” Musiker kaum erschwinglich. Aber diese Zeiten haben sich glücklicherweise geändert. Pitch-Effekte sind inzwischen im Effektangebot vieler Hersteller zu recht günstigen Kursen zu finden.

The EHX Pitch Fork transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. The Kongpressor is an analogue Class A compression pedal which adds an organic three dimensional quality to any rig. Das ZVEX Fuzz Factory Vertical verdankt seine Existenz laut Zachary Vex, dem Mastermind hinter der US-Pedal-Manufaktur ZVEX, der Idee eines Mitarbeiters, aber es war wohl auch der langgehegte Wunsch vieler User nach einem Pedal mit Standardabmessungen. Die üblichen ZVEX-Pedale im Querformat nehmen auf dem Board eine Menge Platz in Anspruch und nicht wenige Gitarristen behelfen sich damit, sie am Rand vertikal und mit dem Schalter nach außen zu platzieren, damit sie problemlos bedient werden können, ohne zu viel Platz zu beanspruchen.

Es ist das bisher aggressivste und potenteste Metal-Pedal aus der Effektschmiede von Robert Keeley und bietet dir mehr Flexibilität bei der Tonformung als alle anderen Keeley Effekte. Designt um dir eine tiefe Bassansprache zu bieten, sogar wenn du durch eine 10-Zoll Box spielst – hier geben dir Bass und Body Regler das nötige Low-End. Du spielst bereits über eine 4x12er? Auch kein Problem, nimm den Body Regler etwas zurück und dein Sound wird tighter und fokussierter! Lässt sich dein Amp nicht leicht in den natürlichen Overdrive pushen, geben dir Boost und Crunch Schalter zwei Gain Settings und zusätzliche Kompression. Presence Regler und der Bright Schalter helfen dir dabei jede Gitarre, unabhängig von der Pickup-Bestückung zum Schreien zu bringen. Mit dem Treble Regler hast du die nötige Bandbreite an Höhen um einen jeden Amp singen zu lassen.

Keeley’s nuanced attention to detail in stompbox tone, tube amp building experience and “tough as nails” build quality ensure this pedal will dominate the high gain pedal board. The Keeley Filaments High Gain Distortion is Keeley’s most potent and aggressive metal stompbox to date. The Filaments has more flexibility in tone-shaping than any other Keeley stompbox. Designed to give you deep bass response even if your running through a 10-inch speaker Bass and Body controls give you the needed low end.  Running through a 4×12 already?  Dialing back the Body control allows you to keep the sound tight and focused.  Have an amp that’s hard to push?  The Boost and Crunch Switches give you two levels of gain and compression to make just the right statement.  The Presence Control works with the Bright control to give any guitar or pickup combination the authority to stand up and shout.  The Treble control gives you that added range of highs to make any amp sing.

The first wah pedal designed by bass players for bass players. The 105Q incorporates a proprietary potentiometer and custom EQ circuitry specifically optimized for bass frequencies. The Cry Baby Bass Wah applies the wah effect to the mids and highs only, leaving a strong fundamental to hold down the bottom so you can take solos or throw in fills without ever disturbing your low end.
