It integrates the classic JRC4558D op-amp chip alongside carbon-comp resistors to replicate coveted vintage audio characteristics. A distinctive engineering departure utilizes three diodes for asymmetrical clipping rather than symmetrical clipping, significantly boosting touch sensitivity and responsiveness to nuanced playing techniques. Built-in controls feature basic level, tone, and gain adjustment dials coupled with a gain-stage toggle switch to unlock an expanded saturation range.
