Inspiriert vom 71er „Triangle“ und den späteren „Red Army / Civil War“ Muffs, bietet der Red Muck eine breitere Palette an Sättigung und verschiedene Grade an Kompression und Sustain.
Der Boost-Fußschalter aktiviert einen speziellen Teil des Schaltkreises, der separat abgestimmt ist, um das vordere Ende des Red Muck zu treffen und noch fettere Wände aus Fuzz-Verzerrung zu erzeugen, oder bei niedrigerer Gain-Einstellung als High-Gain-Stage-Fußschalter zu fungieren.

Inspired by the ’71 “triangle” and the later “Red Army / Civil War” Muffs, the Red Muck boasts a wider gamut of saturation and varied degrees of compression and sustain on tap.
The Boost footswitch engages a dedicated section of the circuit, separately tuned to hit the front end of the Red Muck and generate even fatter walls of Fuzz-Distortion or with the Gain set lower, function as a High-Gain-Stage footswitch.

Central access to the signal supply is provided by a TRS 6.3 mm stereo jack socket. Since the Mini Mounting MOD TRS uses through-connections between the inner and outer jacks, it is also possible to pass signals in the reverse direction to external pedals, such as Wah. Also, by using TRS stereo jacks, „send/return“ applications (A- = tip and B- = ring) are easy to realize.

Much more than just a direct box, the SansAmp Bass Driver DI is capable of dialing up big vintage tube tones, bright modern slap sounds, gnarly distortions, and all in between. Three different outputs to drive power amps, recording desks, PA mixers, or simply enhance your current rig. Controls include Presence for definition and upper harmonic content; Blend to combine the proportion of direct signal and SansAmp circuitry; and active EQ specifically tuned for bass with 12dB of cut or boost.

With the popularity of 5- and 6-string basses going beyond fad status and becoming mainstream, we added a switch to adjust the bass frequency to extend into those lower registers. When we released our original Compressor back in 2011, it quickly became a favourite among guitar and bass players alike who were searching for something more than the typical oversimplified controls found on most compressor pedals. Although our original Compressor sounded great on bass (and still does!) we set out to do even better. 
On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a fully variable sidechain high pass filter, and a two position ‘tone + colour’ circuit which adds gentle tone sculpting and harmonic distortion, giving your bass some delicious character.
