Das RockBoard MOD 4 - All-in-One Wireless System Receiver + Patchbay für Pedalboards bietet eine einfach zu realisierende, kabellose Verbindung zwischen deinem Instrument und deinem Pedalboard. Die Patchbay-Sektion wurde entwickelt um Verbindungen und Anschlüsse des Pedalboards von der Unterseite nach außen zu führen, dir einen zentralen Zugangspunkt zu deinem Setup zur Verfügung zu stellen und um deine Kabelwege aufzuräumen und sortieren zu können. Die A, B, C und D TRS Buchsen sind als direkte, durchgängige Verbindungen von der Vorderseite des MOD 4 zu den entsprechenden Buchsen auf der Rückseite verkabelt. Damit kannst du deine Effekt-Kette so einrichten, dass du bei der Vorbereitung auf den Gig lediglich Kabel an der Vorderseite des Boards einstecken musst, anstatt unter dem Board zu hantieren.

The wireless system works in the 2.4 GHz ISM band for unlimited worldwide use and offers a full 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency range with only 5 ms of latency. The patchbay module is designed to route connections from underneath your pedalboard to its front, giving you a central access point and tidying up your connections. The A, B, C, and D TRS sockets are wiring thru-connections from the front of MOD 4 to the corresponding sockets on the back. This allows you to connect your pedals permanently underneath the board, so you only have to connect cables to and from the front of the board, instead of having to route underneath it when setting it up for a gig.

Der One Control Gecko MKIII ist eine kompakte und leichte Lösung um schnell die MIDI-Programme an mehreren Geräten umzuschalten. Viele Effektpedale nutzen eine MIDI-Steuerung und die Möglichkeit schnell und direkt auf verschiedene Presets zugreifen zu können ist inzwischen eine der wichtigsten Anforderungen bei vielen Live-Shows. Der Gecko MKIII bietet Musikern drei wählbare Schalt-Modi (Select, Instant, Direct) für insgesamt 20 Presets. Jedes Preset kann ein Program Change (PC) Signal in jedem der 16 MIDI-Kanäle speichern. Außerdem lässt sich in jedem MIDI-Kanal das Control Change (CC) Signal festlegen, das gesendet wird, wenn man den OK/TAP Fußschalter tritt. Da man das CC Signal für jeden Kanal frei bestimmen kann, lässt sich so das Tap Tempo von bis zu 16 Geräten gleichzeitig kontrollieren.

The One Control Gecko MKIII is a compact, lightweight solution for quickly switching between programs on MIDI devices. With an increasing number of guitar pedals being built with MIDI capabilities, having the ability to access presets in a quick and efficient manner has become an important part of playing live. The Gecko MKIII gives guitarists three modes to access programs (Select, Instant, Direct) and features 20 presets. Each preset can store one PC (program change) message for each of 16 MIDI channels. Also, for each MIDI channel, you can set the CC number to send when pressing the OK/TAP footswitch and use it as tap tempo control. Since you can set individual CC numbers for each channel, you can control tap tempo of up to 16 devices at once.

Die japanische Firma Zoom ist ja allseits bekannt durch ihre zumeist sehr günstig angebotenen Effektprozessoren. Begonnen hatte alles vor gut 20 Jahren, als die damals noch junge Company mit ihren miniaturisierten Geräten, wie etwa dem Modell 9002, die Fachwelt in Staunen versetzte. Eine komplette Gitarrenvorstufe mit allen erdenklichen Effekten in der Größe einer Jumbo Zigarettenschachtel – so etwas hatte es bis dato noch nicht gegeben. Doch im Kapitalismus schläft ja die Konkurrenz bekanntlich nie und so standen die Geräte von Zoom stets mehr oder weniger im Schatten der marktbeherrschenden Firmen, allen voran natürlich BOSS oder DigiTech. Zumindest im Pro-Sektor, denn unter den „einfachen Bodentretminen“ für günstiges Geld findet man zumeist etwas Passendes im Angebot bei Zoom. Eine Art „einfache Bodentretmine“ ist auch unser heutiges Testmodell, das Zoom Multistomp MS-50G. Obwohl das vielleicht nicht ganz der Wahrheit entspricht, denn in dem unscheinbaren Gehäuse in Form und Aussehen eines einfachen Single-Effektpedals versteckt sich durchaus mehr. Zumindest mehr, als es der Preis von unter 100,- Euro vermuten lässt. Das brandneue Zoom Multistomp MS-50G nun also im Test auf Amazona.de.

Der Mosky XP Booster ist ein kompaktes analoges Clean-Boost-Pedal, das bis zu +20 dB transparente Verstärkung liefert. Seine Schaltung ist ein direkter Klon des Xotic EP Boosters, der wiederum vom legendären Vorverstärker des Maestro Echoplex EP-3 Bandechos inspiriert wurde. Das Pedal verfügt über ein diskretes FET-Design und einen niederohmigen Ausgang, um die Signalklarheit und den harmonischen Reichtum zu verbessern, ohne unerwünschte Verfärbungen hinzuzufügen. Interne DIP-Schalter ermöglichen es dem Benutzer, die EQ-Einstellungen anzupassen und spezifische Boost-Frequenzen für das eigene Setup zu wählen. Untergebracht in einem robusten Mini-Gehäuse aus einer Zink-Aluminium-Legierung, nutzt es True-Bypass-Schaltung, um die Signalintegrität im deaktivierten Zustand zu bewahren.

The Mosky XP Booster is a compact analog clean boost pedal designed to provide up to +20dB of transparent gain. Its circuit is a direct clone of the Xotic EP Booster, which itself was inspired by the legendary preamp section of the Maestro Echoplex EP-3 tape delay. The pedal features a discrete FET design and low-impedance output to enhance signal clarity and harmonic richness without adding unwanted coloration. Internal DIP switches allow users to customize the equalization settings and choose specific boost frequencies to suit their rig. Housed in a durable zinc-aluminum alloy mini-enclosure, it utilizes true bypass switching to preserve signal integrity when disengaged.
