The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Das Electro Harmonix Oceans 12 ist ein Stereo-Reverb-Pedal, das, wie der Name schon erahnen lässt, mit gleich 12 verschiedenen Reverb-Modi den Spieler beglücken möchte. Damit hat das Oceans 12 im Gegensatz zum seinem ebenfalls von uns getesteten Vorgänger, dem Oceans 11, noch einen Algorithmus mehr an Bord. Viel entscheidender ist aber die Möglichkeit, gleich zwei Reverbs parallel oder in Serie zu schalten, und das in Stereo.

The EHX Oceans 12 is the Oceans 11’s big brother with even more reverbs and functionality. It features two simultaneous, independent, stereo reverb engines, series and parallel control for the dual reverbs, 24 presets and advanced I/O allowing for stereo in/out or mono send/return with pre and post reverb options. The pedal also includes a new Tide Control for stereo image alteration, a Lo-fi Control, an infinite attenuation control and an input jack for external expression and 3-button footswitch control.

A Tails switch provides a choice of whether the reverb effect fades out naturally or stops immediately when the pedal is switched to bypass. In most settings the pedal is also capable of producing infinite reverb which can be played over with a different reverb effect.

The Oceans 12’s reverbs are:
• ROOM – two modes: reverb algorithms modeled after a lively room and a spacious performance hall
• SPRING – two modes: vintage 1962 Fender® 6G15 tube reverb emulation and the spring algorithm from the EHX Holy Grail
• PLATE – two modes: two emulations of the smooth, metal plate reverb often used in high-end recording studios during the 1960s and ‘70s
• REVERSE – two modes: a reverse reverb effect as well as true reversed echoes
• ECHO – three modes: a digital delay with various echo rhythms feeding into a plate reverb
• TREM – three modes: a classic, periodic volume envelope with various shapes applied to both the wet and dry mix of a hall reverb
• MOD – three modes: combinations of chorus and flange reverbs that create rich reverb tails
• DYNA – three dynamic, experimental reverb algorithms: swell, gate and duck
• AUTO-INF – three modes: auto-infinite reverb (w/optional chorus or flange) that “listens” to your playing and crossfades to a new reverb wash upon detection of newly struck notes.
• SHIMMER – two modes: two configurations of a rich octave-shifted reverb wash
• POLYPHONIC – two modes: two configurable bi-directional pitch shifts that add dimensionality to the reverb tail
• RESONANT – two modes: reverb excited by tunable resonators and configurable self-oscillating filters on the reverb tail

First thing I hit is a MXR super comp that sits under the pedalboard! Then wah etc... I use one of the triggers for switching my clean/distorted channel on my MT15. On the MOD1, B goes into the input, C and D are for FX loop. E is the footswitch I mentioned early. With this setup you don't need a Tuner out, but from there I hit an almost cranked up Fender Deluxe Reverb. The effects from the pedalboard won't affect it, so it's kind of a dry signal that is mixed with my main amp, the MT15.

Signal path: 
Guitar goes into MXR super comp ->  Slash wah -> MXR sub machine -> Fuzzface -> Joyo PXL PRO looper. From there, I have my first 4 loops of the PXL, that will hit the front of the amp.  Electro Harmonix Silencer with the 4 cables method (looper send->Silencer's Input/Silencer's send->looper return. Silencer's Out and Return are in the Second section of loops of the PXL) ; MOER Acoustikar ; Electro Harmonix OD GLOVE ; KMA Logan. 
Then I have the remaining 4 loops of the PXL that will go into the FX loop of the amp. 
The first pedal is the noise gate as mentioned (looper send goes into Silencer's out->Silencer's return goes into looper return) ; Then it's time for the NUX Lacerate booster, I have it in the FX loop so that I have a volume boost on the Distorted channel of my MT15 amp. 
Then I have a loop in which I hit Electro Harmonix EDDY, Tc Electronic Thunderstorm, and Joyo D-Seed. I tend to leave the delay turned on and make presets with it, and when I need the chorus or the flanger I just leave my preset where I have the delay on and switch it off. Then I switch on my chorus or flanger. 
And finally, Strymon Blue Sky.

The RockBoard StageTuner ST-01 combines all aspects that musicians seek in a chromatic pedal tuner. The true bypass does not affect your guitar's tone at all and its two outputs allow for either silent or audible tuning. The ST-01's reference frequency can be changed in 1 Hz steps from 432 to 445 Hz with a tuning range from 27,5 Hz (A0) to 4.186 kHz (C8) accuratly down to 1 Cent. It also feature a handy detuning function, which lets you drop your tuning by 1, 2 or 3 semi-tones. Das Verzerrer-Pedal soll vor allem mit zwei Aspekten punkten: die Reaktivität des Gains bei der Anschlagsdynamik und dem damit verbundene Headroom, der einen offenen, saturierten Sound gewährleisten soll. Bis zu 25 dB soll das Logan durch das Headroom-Design draufpacken können, womit das gute Stück in Preamp-Gefilde vorstößt. Es ist kein rückkopplungsfreudiges High-Gain-Pedal, sondern ein Tone-Shaper und Boost, der sich darauf konzentriert, Mitten und Bässe hervorzuheben. Treble und Bass verstärken den Sound um bis zu 15 dB, eignen sich also hervorragend dazu, bei einem größeren Cabinet ein ordentliches Fundament zu liefern. Die eigentliche Stärke des Logan liegt in der Flexibilität der Mitten – doch dazu später mehr.
