Description

With the AT Mini, JHS Pedals introduces a compact version of Andy Timmons’ popular signature overdrive pedal. Based on the original V1 circuit of the AT, the pedal delivers a distinctive British-style distortion sound, perfect for punchy rhythm guitar and singing lead tones. Thanks to its significantly smaller enclosure, the AT Mini saves valuable pedalboard space while offering that proven sound at a more attractive price point. The pedal utilizes the fixed "100-watt" voicing setting - the exact configuration preferred by Andy Timmons himself. It impresses with an open, dynamic response, high output volume, minimal compression, and a remarkably authentic amp-like feel. The result is a powerful, harmonically rich overdrive that captures the character of a British tube amp cranked to the max. Four controls allow for intuitive tone shaping. Volume sets the output level, while Drive adjusts the gain - ranging from robust crunch to full-bodied distortion. The EQ knob functions as a high-pass filter, tailoring the fundamental tone from warm to brilliant, while the Air control - acting much like a Presence knob - fine-tunes the high-frequency range to suit different amplifiers. The JHS AT Mini features true bypass switching to ensure an uncolored signal path, and its compact dimensions allow it to fit easily onto even the most crowded pedalboards.
