Inspired by the match-made-in-heaven of vintage effects found on 60s American amps, White Whale V2 sets out a new objective to pack bigger real spring reverb and tremolo sounds in the same pedalboard friendly enclosure (17 x 12,5 x 7,5 cm).

The 3-spring reverb tank assembly housed inside White Whale’s enclosure has remained the same, but we have upgraded the power amp driving the springs for increased headroom and wider frequency response. Following the signal topography of vintage units we have also upgraded the dwell control to allow you to dial the right amount of signal that goes into the springs for a mellower or splashier reverb sound. Real spring reverb found in 60s American tube amps and external reverb units featured a tube power amp driving the spring assembly via an output transformer, so we have delicately tuned an analog circuit to emulate the tube and output transformer saturation that was produced on higher dwell settings.

White Whale V2

The HRM V2 is designed to achieve the overdriven sounds of a D style amp with the HRM EQ mod” This EQ mod creates a very low-mid centric throaty sound where the guitar frequencies live” The touch sensitivity and quickness gives the effect of immediacy and cuts through the mix.

For this V2 version we were able to spend about a 2 years living with an actual Dumble Amplifier with the HRM EQ mod. This allowed us to really drill down on the subtle nuances to make an even better version than the previous HRM. This pedal, even at lower gain settings, will bloom and feedback making it feel like the real thing. We found some very nice NOS parts that enhance the authenticity of the V2
version and most importantly it makes it fun to play.

Das Archer Ikon ist ein 2-in-1-Pedal. Es kann einfach als cleaner Booster verwendet werden, indem den Gain-Regler ganz herunterschaltet. Sobald man Gain hinzufügt, wird das Clean-Signal abgedämpft. Aber hier gilt es einen magischen Zwischenbereich zu entdecken.

The Archer Ikon is sort of a 2 in one pedal. It can be used as just a clean boost by turning the gain all the way down. As you introduce gain it will attenuate the clean signal but you will find that there is a magical blend in between.

The J. Rockett Alien Echo aims to replicate the sound of vintage analog bucket brigade tape delay tones. Randomized modulation similar to that of a worn-out tape delay is footswitchable for on-the-fly adjustments. Create alien-esque, trailing delays or twangy slapback with the J. Rockett Alien Echo - just tap on the Warble switch to bring your delay into totally extraterrestrial.

The Blue Note Select is a “V2” of our favorite circuit. The original Blue Note Pro Series was the first and that included the “Hot” switch. We then introduced the Tour Series that did not have the “Hot” switch. The newest Blue Note Select not only includes the”hot” switch but also includes major improvements to the looks, the sound and the overall feel, all in a very small package. We have gone so far as to have custom knobs made, a custom color mixed to achieve
the electric blue you see and by far the biggest improvement is the low end both in and out of “hot mode”. This could be our best overall low gain drive.

Das Josh Smith Dual Trem ist eine Kollaboration zwischen dem Blues-Gitarristen Josh Smith, J. Rockett Audio Designs und dem Designer Tim Jauernig. Es verfügt über zwei unabhängige Tremolo-Sektionen (je mit eigenen Reglern für Geschwindigkeit und Tiefe) sowie eine globale Boost-Regelung zur Kompensation von Lautstärkeverlust oder als saubere Klangsteigerung. Es zielt darauf ab, den Tremolo-Klang klassischer „Leo“-Verstärker einzufangen, und ermöglicht das Einstellen von zwei unterschiedlichen Trem-Sounds, das Umschalten dazwischen oder das Stapeln beider.

The Josh Smith Dual Trem is a collaboration between blues artist Josh Smith, pedal designer J. Rockett Audio Designs and designer Tim Jauernig. It features two independent tremolo sections (each with their own Rate and Depth controls) along with a global Boost control to compensate for volume loss or to act as a clean boost. It is voiced to capture the tremolo sounds of classic “Leo” style amplifiers and allows you to dial two distinct trem settings, switch between them or stack them.
