This pedal has a completely different circuit than the usual Overdrive circuits of the 70s. Its sound can be super Clean and crystalline or distorted in a truly spectacular way.
Set with the soft gain, the clean acquires a small compression that highlights the guitar in a spectacular way
When you set the gain higher, the compression becomes slightly more “boxy” but letting the harmonics come out forward in a very particular way.
With the gain at maximum, it is pedal glory. A LEAD sound is achieved that lets you hear every minute detail that comes out of the pickups. Whether making chords, riffs, or single phrases, this high gain pedal has a depth and body that you really don't get with ANY other type of Overdrive.Media
