Die RockBoard® MODs bieten einen zentralen Zugangspunkt vom Instrument zum Verstärker sowie eine praktische und einfache Stromversorgung des Boards über einen IEC- und einen 2,1 x 5,5 Barrel-Through-Stromanschluss. Das RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 ist eine Pass-Through-Box, die speziell für Gitarristen und Bassisten entwickelt wurde. Du kannst das MOD 1 V2 nutzen um mehrere Pedale deines Setups im Front End und im Effekt-Loop des Verstärkers zu postieren (4-Kabel Methode) oder die vier TRS-Anschlüsse als zentralen Zugang und Ausgang des Boards nutzen. Die XLR-Through-Verbindung kann als Signalausgang vom Pedalboard zum Mischpult oder zur PA verwendet werden.

The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections. The XLR thru connection can be used as signal output from your pedalboard to the console or PA.

Der Boost/Line-Treiber ist einfach aufgebaut, aber äußerst effektiv bei der Lösung verschiedener Probleme mit unpassenden Line-Pegeln und der Signalaufbereitung, die beim Kombinieren von Effekten auftreten können. Das Schaltungsdesign des MC401 wird seit Jahren von CAE in den weltbesten Gitarristen-Rigs eingesetzt, um diese Probleme zu beheben und verloren gegangenen Glanz, Punch und Brillanz wiederherzustellen. Er kann auch als ultra-sauberer Boost (bis zu +20 dB) für Soli oder zum Antreiben von Effekten für mehr Dynamik und Sensibilität eingesetzt werden.

The Boost/Line Driver is simple in design but superbly effective in solving a variety of mismatched line level and signal conditioning problems that can occur when combining effects. The MC401's circuit design has been used for years by CAE in the world's best guitarist's rigs to remedy these problems and rejuvenate the sparkle, punch and brilliance that can be lost. It can also be used as an ultra-clean boost (up to +20dB) for solos or to drive effects for more dynamics and sensitivity.

MC401 CAE Boost/Linedriver

Seit geraumer Zeit befindet es sich nun in meinem Besitz, das Zakk Wylde Signature-Chorus Pedal aus dem Hause MXR. Nach nun einiger Zeit, in der sich die Miene hier eingewöhnen konnte, gebe ich ein paar Eindrücke wieder.

The new MXR Black Label Chorus is Zakk’s secret weapon to thicken up his wall of distortion and add liquid dimension and texture to clean passages. At the heart of the Black Label Chorus is its bucket brigade circuitry—the only way to get truly rich and warm analog chorusing. Its vintage style tones are dialed in by High and Low cut filters and Level, Rate and Depth controls. For the ultimate in spatial chorusing, hook up two amps via the two outputs for a wide and sweeping stereo spread. Like all MXR pedals, the Black Label Chorus comes in a heavy-duty housing with durable jacks and switches for a lifetime on the road.

Und tatsächlich handelt es sich bei unserem Testpedal um ein Exemplar des Klassikers, das nach den Wünschen eines gewissen Saul Hudson alias Slash modifiziert wurde.
