Description
The BiX is a professional-grade acoustic instrument preamplifier and DI pedal that distills the high-fidelity performance of Grace Design’s flagship FELiX and ALiX models into a streamlined format. The analog circuit features a 10MΩ high-impedance input to preserve the full frequency response of various pickup types, including piezo sensors. It provides a simple yet powerful control set comprising input gain, high and low shelving EQ, and a variable 10dB boost. Rear-panel DIP switches allow users to customize the EQ transition frequencies for precise tonal shaping. The unit includes a transformer-isolated balanced XLR DI output and a dedicated effects loop for integrating additional pedals. It is engineered with an internal operating voltage of over 30V to provide massive headroom and studio-quality transparency for live performances.Media
