Johnny Hiland, a solo artist signed to Shrapnel Records, has been the session player of choice for Toby Keith, Ricky Skaggs, Janie Fricke, and Hank Williams III. Johnny has also long been the show-guitarist of choice for Paul Reed Smith Guitars. Johnny first heard the Gig-fx Kilo-Wah at Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany, and he liked it so much he bought one on the spot and later agreed to lend his name to this custom version of the pedal to meet his demanding tone specifications exactly.The pedal was designed to have the same huge tone as the Mega-Wah but simpler to use with less controls to worry about.

Der PRO-CHOP eröffnet Gitarristen und anderen Musikern eine völlig neue Welt, wenn sie wiederholbare und tranceartige Grooves oder pulsierende Effekte erzeugen wollen, die perfekt mit jedem Track synchronisiert sind.
Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten, dies zu erreichen: Zum einen lässt sich die auf dem LCD-Display angezeigte Frequenz auf das gewählte Tempo einstellen. Dies ermöglicht zum ersten Mal ein präzises und wiederholbares Tempo für eine Tremolo-Welle / Chop / Pan.

Der zweite Weg ist die Synchronisation mit einem beliebigen Track/Synthesizer, der über eine MIDI-Clock verfügt. Durch die Synchronisation mit einem bestimmten MIDI-Clock-Takt kann der PRO-CHOP 1.2.3.4 oder 8 Chops / Pans / Tremolo-Wellen zuweisen, was eine große Vielfalt an Klangmustern ermöglicht. Wann immer das Gerät eingeschaltet wird, ist es sofort perfekt synchronisiert.

The PRO-CHOP opens up a whole new world to guitarists and other musicians who want to produce repeatable and trance-like grooves or pulsating effects that are in perfect sync with any track.
There are two ways to achieve this; one is by setting the frequency read out on the LCD to the chosen tempo. This allows for the first time ever a precise and repeatable tempo for a tremolo wave / chop / pan.

The second is by syncing with any track / synth that has a MIDI clock available. By syncing with a given MIDI clock beat, the PRO-CHOP can allocate 1.2.3.4 or 8 chops / pans / tremolo waves allowing a wide variety of sound patterns. Whenever the device is turned on, it will be instantly in perfect sync.
