Cat King is back in a new, smaller design, packed with loads of features giving you the best bang for your buck for distortion/overdrive (at $180, it costs less than the big box Cat King on the used market…)! The old version of Cat King was housed in a larger enclosure, so we shrunk things down to pack in: 9–18 V operation for more headroom; 2nd Distortion Mod (left footswitch) to select between two different Distortion levels; Momentary Feedback Mod (top footswitch) and pot for feedback blasts; Diode toggle selecting 1n914/none/LED clipping; Top-mounted jacks; One-of-a-kind three-footswitch array to maximize your board space – top footswitch is raised to sit above the pots. From slightly dirty overdrive through brash, nasty distortion, Cat King can work as your always-on grind or something to kick your amp up a notch. Clipping 1 and 2 pots help you sculpt how hard the clipping (distortion) is on the high or low frequencies, allowing for a more unique and pleasing distorted experience. The top Feedback footswitch is situated higher above the pots, so when your Cat King sits on your pedalboard, you have safe, easy access to hold it down.
