The Clusterfuzz Micro is the smaller brother to our Clusterfuzz and Clusterfuzz Jr. pedals. It’s the same circuit under the hood, with a few less features to allow it to fit into a standard 1590A-sized enclosure. It uses the same types and values of components as its bigger siblings, we simply scaled it down to a smaller footprint based on feedback from our customers.

Clusterfuzz Micro

Inspiring almost as much drama as the Klon, the CJOD is our take on the once wildly popular, rare as hen’s teeth, splatter-painted Clay Jones Overdrive. If you don’t know the backstory on this one, click here to read all about it (but bring some popcorn). Our version is true to the original with one exception: our diode selector switch has three options (instead of two): 1) asymmetrical silicon diodes (1N914), 2) LEDs, and 3) a “diode lift” (no diodes) in the center position. All the great tone of the CJOD (and more), but without the high price tag and inflated hype. Fans of expensive Tubescreamer-inspired pedals will enjoy that boutique “808” tone at a truly reasonable price and less than half the pedalboard footprint.

CJOD

The Accufunkture is an envelope-controlled filter effect (auto-wah or envelope filter). We started with the classic Mutron Micro V circuit and added the features we think modern music makers deserve. On top of that, we also spec’d only new-production components, thus avoiding the drama related to shortages of hard-to-find, vintage, or esoteric parts. The net result is a responsive, highly configurable envelope filter made for today’s artist. And it works great in tandem with our Clusterfuzz driving the front end.

Accufunkture

Behold: the Clusterfuzz. A tweaker’s delight, the Clusterfuzz pedal is capable of delivering medium-gain overdrive up to raunchy square-wave fuzz tones. Unlike finicky vintage fuzz boxes (or their slavish modern clones with drifting bias and loose tolerances), the Clusterfuzz operates consistently and reliably by utilizing modern components and stable bias. In fact, it is not patterned after any existing classic or modern “boutique” fuzz pedal. It has its own flair and unique set of controls.

Clusterfuzz

The Cannon is a 2-in-1 mashup of a pair of classic fuzz circuits: the Tycobrahe Octavia and the
AstroTone Fuzz / Sam Ash Fuzzbox. This pedal was conceived by and created for Chicago-area
bluesman Toronzo Cannon.
