Description
Fender's The Bends Compressor V2 is an analog compressor and clean boost pedal built around a refined Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) circuit. Designed to deliver low-noise dynamic leveling and musical sustain, this updated version features a rear-mounted Vintage switch that shifts the compression profile from a transparent, modern utility to a warm, subtly saturated old-school tone. It integrates an independent, ultra-clean boost circuit that can be flexibly routed either before or after the compression stage using an on-board toggle switch. The interface provides precise tailoring via Input, Release, and Blend controls, along with a three-position Attack switch and an active Tone control with a center detent. Additional performance adjustments include switchable true or buffered bypass modes and a rear-panel Multiswitch that toggles the footswitches between standard latching and momentary operation.Media
