When we released our original Compressor back in 2011, it quickly became a favourite among guitar and bass players alike who were searching for something more than the typical oversimplified controls found on most compressor pedals. Although our original Compressor sounded great on bass (and still does!) we set out to do even better. 
On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a fully variable sidechain high pass filter, and a two position ‘tone + colour’ circuit which adds gentle tone sculpting and harmonic distortion, giving your bass some delicious character.

Der SV-Pre ist ein JFET-Vorverstärker, der dem Vorverstärkerteil des SVT aus den 70er Jahren nachempfunden ist. Jede Verstärkungsstufe wurde sorgfältig entwickelt, um das warme Klanggefühl und die Verzerrung des Originalverstärkers einzufangen. In Kombination mit einem Cab-Simulator erhalten Sie den monströsen Sound eines klassischen Bassverstärker-Stacks, ohne 250 Pfund schweres Equipment transportieren zu müssen.

Zusätzlich zum Design der Verstärkungsstufe wurden die EQ- und Klangschalter so konzipiert, dass sie die gleiche Ansprache wie die des Originalverstärkers bieten. Die Bass- und Höhenregler entsprechen der Standardkonfiguration eines James-Stacks und haben eine Shelving-Ansprache der Tiefen und Höhen. Der EQ ist in der Mittagsposition flach.

Der Mittenregler verwendet einen simulierten Induktor, um die gleiche Frequenzantwort und Breite des Mittenreglers des SVT zu emulieren. Anstelle von drei festen Frequenzen variiert der Frequenzregler stufenlos von 220 bis 3 kHz. Der Mitten-EQ ist in der Mittagsposition flach.

Der Low-Kippschalter verwendet die gleiche Schaltung wie der dreistufige Ultra-Lo-Schalter des SVT. Wenn der Kippschalter nach rechts gestellt ist, wird ein 2-poliger Hochpassfilter angewendet, der einen natürlicheren Drive-Sound ermöglicht. In der mittleren Position bleibt der Tieftonbereich unverändert. In der linken Position wird eine leichte Absenkung vorgenommen, wodurch tiefe Bässe und hohe Frequenzen betont werden. Der Bright-Kippschalter sorgt für eine Anhebung der Höhen, die bei niedrigeren Gain-Einstellungen stärker ausgeprägt ist.

Am Ausgang wurde ein Master-Lautstärkeregler hinzugefügt, um den Gesamtpegel einzustellen. Verwenden Sie den Gain-Regler, um die gewünschte Wärme und Übersteuerung einzustellen. Der Gain-Regler entspricht dem Lautstärkeregler des SVT aus den 70er Jahren.

The SV-Pre is a JFET preamplifier that has been modeled after the preamp section of the 70s SVT. Each gain stage has been carefully designed to capture the feel of warmth and breakup found on the original amp. Coupled with a cab sim, you could have the monstrous tone of the classic bass amp stack without the challenge of transporting 250 pounds of gear.

In addition to the gain stage design, the EQ and tone switches have been designed to give the same response as those on the original amp. The Bass and Treble controls are the standard James stack configuration, having a shelving response of the lows and highs. The eq is flat when at noon.

The middle control uses a simulated inductor to emulate the same frequency response and width of the mid control on the SVT. Instead of three fixed frequencies, the frequency knob continuously varies from 220 to 3k Hz. The mid eq is flat when at noon.

The Low toggle switch uses the same circuitry as the three-way Ultra lo switch on the SVT. With the toggle to the right, a 2-pole high pass filter is applied, and allows for a more natural drive tone. With the toggle in the middle position, the low end is unaffected. With the toggle in the left position, a slight scoop is applied, emphasizing deep lows and treble frequencies. The Bright toggle switch applies a treble boost, and is more pronounced at lower gain settings.

A Master volume knob has been added on the output to set the overall level. Use the Gain knob to set the desired amount of warmth and overdrive. The Gain knob is equivalent the the Volume knob on the 70s SVT.

Außerdem verfügt die V2 über die Möglichkeit den G2 Toggle per Red Remote Fußschalter zu aktivieren, sodass du On-the-Fly auf heftigen Overdrive oder Fuzz umschalten kannst!

The JHS Kilt V2 still has the fantastic circuit of the version one, but with super low noise, improved slew rate for a smoother structure and a character that just feels better than the original Expandora. The Cut/Flat toggle switch gives the option to cut the low end frequencies or to have a more beefier sound than the original Expandora and the G1 and G2 toggles let you select various forms of distortion, from light transparent drive all the way to a wall of fuzz/distortion and everything found in-between. Also, the V2 has the ability to switch the G2 toggle with the Red Remote footswitch giving you the opportunity to flip into heavy overdrive or fuzz with a footswitch on the fly!

The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections. The XLR thru connection can be used as signal output from your pedalboard to the console or PA.
